Great Gaming Laptop for Price
This is a very sleek gaming laptop. It's very cool for my use. I am a casual gamer so it might be a little overkill, but i do love the thin bezels and the nice RGB that it comes with. I got the 2070 max Q version, with 144 hertz monitor. The battery is a little lacking, but it's expected of gaming performance laptops. I usually use my Macbook 15 inch for web use, but this is more versatile.

Good laptop but serious design flaw
The laptop is working just fine...today. In 6 months? who knows. MSI seems to be obsessed with making a super super thin gaming laptop instead of a super super fast gaming laptop. This obsession has forced them to downgrade the video specs to prevent overheating due to insufficient airflow inherent in ultra thin laptops. I would have much preferred a thick as a brick gaming laptop with a real beefy video card and what I got was form over function. An ultra slim design with an underclocked video card to keep things cool.. The metal keyboard still gets pretty darn hot even with the downgraded video. So I am left with a laptop that's going to take me years to pay off but might start chugging slow framerates with next years games and probably some already out today. Lastly, the sound from the speakers truly is terrible. scratchy, tinny and hard to hear but I don't know anyone who doesn't use headphones anyways

box came destroyed
Laptop box came destroyed and patched with tape. Didn't even bother checking to see if the laptop worked.

Worth every penny
Purchased this on Black Friday and saved $500. I spent the saved money on extra upgrades but they aren’t really needed because this laptop out of the box is great for anything. It has a Samsung 1tb ssd and the ram is (2) Samsung 1x8 gb sticks. Very nice because a lot of machines will have (1) 16gb stick of gb ram which may affect your game when pushing it with gaming. Has a 144hz monitor that looks fantastic. Super fast when opening and running programs. As mentioned I did upgrade it a week after purchasing. Not because of how it performed I ordered the parts before ever turning it on. This has 3 slots for ssd drives. (2) nvme/SATA slots and (1)SATA slot. A lot of laptops only have one slot. I added a Samsung 970 EVO plus nvme 1TB ssd and a Samsung 860 EVO SATA 1TB. I have 3TB of ssd try to find a laptop with that for under $2500-$3000. Also upgraded my ram to Corsair vengeance performance 32gb. Some may think that’s overkill but for less than $150 and already having the laptop open I decided too. You do have to take out the mother board for the ram swap so be prepared and there’s an easy to find YouTube video if help is needed. if you upgrade like I did it’s going to be a beast of a machine. If you use how it comes it will still be a beast of a machine. Can’t go wrong either way.

Avid gamer
Bought this last december and I have had no issues - which is something you rarely hear when it comes to gaming laptops. I used to own an alienware r5, and that thing was too bulky and there were way too many issues. This laptop is the opposite and i am happy with my purchase.

The speakers are inexcusably terrible
My single (1) phone speaker is louder than both speakers in this laptop. You literally can not hear the speakers over the fans.Whoever came up with the idea to point the speakers down needs to be fired! It's completely inexcusable for such a high priced laptop to have such stupidly designed, terribly performing speakers! The screen is cheap. Yes it's 144hz but the colors are desaturated and not vibrant, the contrast and blacks suck and it's not bright.Overall this laptop is way overpriced for what you get. You're paying for the CPU and GPU and thin form factor, everything else was sourced from the cheapest source possible and slapped together, then sold at crazy markup. No HDR, no gsync, cheap screen, pitiful speakers, loud fans, high temps, high price. I regretted this laptop. There's a lot better options for the money. Lesson learned, shop around first.

Seller takes ages to ship. Don't expect item for weeks
The laptop itself is decent but the seller is who I have a problem with. I ordered 2 weeks ago and it hasn't even been shipped yet. You could also get a far better laptop for the price
