Excellent replacement. Works perfectly.

Great weather station.
Highly recommended. This is a replacement unit for one that we’ve had for 9 years on the shore of Lake Michigan. I love being able to check in on conditions there remotely. The indoor display is easy to read and the remote connectivity is great - the app works very well. (You’ll need a separate additional device to connect via the internet)

Don't make the mistake I did.
I tried to use the digital screen I already had from my last weather station & it won't connect. So I have ordered the whole set. I want to return the one I bought but it has been on my pole & in the rain & it's past the 30 days, so I guess I'll keep it. Just remember when you order, please order the station & the screen together.

Love this Weather Sensor BUT...
I have owned this sensor twice and have just purchased it a third time. The first 5 in 1 sensor I purchased was not the PRO version. It did not have the second solar panel and built in fan to provide more accurate temperature readings. The first sensor lasted about 1 year before it quit working as a result of ants. After cleaning out the ants, I was not able to get it working again. The sensor was just over 12 months old when I purchased a replacement. I purchased the PRO+ sensor as the replacement in July 2016. It worked perfectly until late this March when it quit registering rain. The problem isn't bug-related this time as no bugs have emerged from the winter yet. Apparently unrelated to the rain sensor, the sensor was producing a very rapid clicking sound which seems to be related to the cooling fan. When the weather station is working, it works GREAT! I love it and that is why I am buying my third sensor. This time around, however, I'm purchasing the 3 year warranty. One piece of advice, if you mount the sensor on a wooden post, I highly recommend you spray the post with bug repellant. Acurite also recommends you tape a moth ball inside the sensor. If you purchase this weather station you will not be disappointed. It's great but be prepared to deal with sensor problems.

Great weather station for the price, but not backwards compatible with the earlier color display.
This is my second AcuRite 5 in 1 Weather Stataion. My first one was not the Pro+, but it did a great job. The only reason I had to replace it is that it just got beat up by the weather, the wind, rain, hail, ice and snow finally wore it out. I placed it on the roof of my house to get the most unobstructed view for the sensors, but that also opened it up to more severe conditions. My only complaint about my new Pro+ system is that it is not backwards compatible with the color display I was using on my old unit. The display is in perfect condition because it was indoors. I thought I'd be able to have two different display locations to use with my new Pro+ 5 in 1 sensor. Can someone from AcuRite let me know if there is any option to modify or update the old display so that I can be compatible with my new weather station. It would be fantastic to have both displays working. Thanks.

Don't Waste Your Money! Its a disposible "TOY"...
I have owned the Acurite 5in1 PRO product since 2015. In 4 years, I have had to warranty replace and/or purchase 3 5in1 sensors, plus 2 aspirating fan components. I also have 3 additional temp/humidity sensors scattered about my home, as well as TWO color display units, and one Access unit (which is the forced 'upgrade' to replace my previous TWO access units - one replaced under warranty). As you can see, my experience with Acurite and replacements is pretty extensive as well as with the product. I have also invested hundreds of dollars and lots of time. I am an engineer, and I can truthfully say that everything about this Acurite product system is JUNK! Yes, the price and design are attractive - but that's it. They claim the product can transmit data 330' (Line of Sight), yet mine has connection issues (even with Access unit upgrade) at 75' through a wood 2x4 exterior wall. My first 5in1 sensor had to be replaced under warranty as it wouldn't even reliably and consistently connect to the displays, let alone to the older access unit. My second 5in1 sensor just failed in March 2019 after only being in service 2 years. Stopped sending data again. PLUS the aspiration fan, to maintain steady temperature readings and solar powered, failed 2x on that 5in1 unit and I had to disassemble the sensor to replace it. BTW, I have the PRO version with the dual solar panels. Because of my ongoing issues, I had purchased a THIRD unit on Amazon back in August of 2018 (for a good deal) just to have on hand in case my second 5in1 sensor failed (which it just did as I described above). In March 2019, I put that one in service and it worked fine right until a few weeks ago. I started having issues having the 5in1 sensor randomly stop communicating with the new Access unit. Add to that, it now has another failed aspiration fan unit! I now literally want to burn all of this Acurite hardware in a bonfire! As other customers have stated, you can no longer call the company and speak to someone in support. Nope. You have to email customer support through their website, and they typically respond in 6-24 hours (probably an offshore contracted help desk). In this day and age, this is unacceptable. Of course, they put you through the common troubleshooting procedures to resolve the connection issues (placement, redoing setups, reset, etc.), but for us seasoned Acurite customers, this is child's play and I already did that with no success. My 'new' Access unit started randomly dropping connections not just with the 5in1 sensor, but also with two out of three inside temp/humidity units. They claim its not the Access unit, but some kind of interference issue. Yet, my Access unit and sensor hardware has been in the same location for YEARS, without much of an issue until recently. Is it all of the sensors? The Access unit? New WiFi interference sources? Or how about the whole system together? - YEP! As I am emailing Customer Service the last week and a half for my sudden connection issues, my aspiration fan unit in my latest 5in1 sensor stops working (Here we go AGAIN! Grrrr). You know this because your daytime temp readings are suddenly 10-15F higher than any other temp sensor in your area - with no natural explanation. They have now offered to send me a new component under warranty, but I have yet to make the decision to accept as I want this nightmare to end. Who wants to spend endless hours and $$ fixing this horribly executed product? Not me! "ain't nobody got time for that!!" Let my experience be a deciding factor in your purchase decision. Read the other reviews. Acurite has gone downhill in my opinion. Nothing but low-priced, low-quality junk at this point. I already have an Ambient Weather system at my lake house since 2016. I have honestly had NO ISSUES and I am going to purchase another AW setup to replace my Acurite system. Sure, I'll spend another $80-$100, but its worth not having the hassle to deal with this Acurite garbage. Good Luck to all.

Very accurate with all five measurements!
I had to replace an old 5-in-1 that served me well for many years. This one is very accurate especially with humidity and pressure. My old one did not do real well with outside humidity and pressure. All the readings for this one are right on. When I calibrated the rain gauge before putting it up the gauge was right on as the manual stated the reading should be.

Weather and Rain
I purchased this as a replacement for one that finally died. I already had an indoor receiver so didn't need the full set. The Acurite gives a reasonable reading of wind, rain and temp (that's about all I use it for) but works for my needs. I have two units and they seldom read the same but are always close. I like that I can be away from home and still know it is raining, if the wind blowing or what the temp is at home by having it also connected to my computer and Iphone. It's not exact but it is close enough. Reasonable cost for the information it provides.

Works well
We had to replace the exact same unit after approximately 7 years as it finally packed it in through fairly extreme weather conditions. So the install was very easy and the new unit connected quickly through wifi to the original two monitors that did not need replacement. Nice option to just buy the weather station only

Works exactly as expected.
This is to replace an existing one that after about 5 years stopped working. Apparently it's a thing that some component that always goes every few years. They do sell the part as a spare part in America but not in Australia. So you need to buy all new one. Please note that you still have to buy an internal display or another module to do the online side of it.

Température
Petite merveille, pour avoir tous les renseignements de température en direct , vitesse du vent , température avec facteur vent , température la plus basse de la journée et la plus haute, je dois avouer que je ne m`en passerais plus. Très bon produit.

Great unit.
Replaced a similar Acurite unit that lasted many years (so long that i can't remember the original purchase). Hard to believe that plastic can last so long

A good quality weather gauge
A multi sensor weather gauge for Rain, Wind, Temp and humidity. It works well with the sensors some distance from the display. I am not sure how accurate the temperature is at high temperatures. During a heat wave the they temperature was showing up to 4c higher then the weather bureau. At other times the temps are similar .
