RØDE Microphones NTG4+ Supercardioid Condenser Shotgun Microphone with Inbuilt Battery

Light weight, and strong. It came with everything. The clip holder, for a mic stand. The USB charge cable. The Sticker. Plus opportunity for 10 year warranty, upon proper registration. Zipper case. The one Con: you need to plug in the mini USB into the "blind hole". While I understand the cavity protects the mini USB, plugging it in, is awkward. Because you need to properly align the plug to the receptacle, at the bottom of the XLR plug. But this is the proper location for such a plug, and not a deal breaker,to plug It in and charge it. Then 3 green LEDS blink 1-2-3, while charging. But what a beautiful Microphone. And not overly long, unless you demand something less than 10.94 " Just under 11 inches long. The audio quality is Immortal as well. Your basically getting a $1000 microphone for about $300. Making it hands down, Best in Class. That being said, be advised it took over hour to charge it, on my computer USB port.

I’m loving the sound of this microphone. Bassier than my Deity shotgun, but not as boomy as other Rode shotguns (like the NTG2), so running it alongside the Deity offers a nice contrast option depending on which mic suits the subject’s voice better. Also more gain than other Rodes so don’t have to push the preamps so much. Solid unit. Good workhorse and gives clean, bright audio when paired with the right recorder or preamp and camera.

Super good mic at an affordable price. Sure, a Sennheiser would be great, but this one stands up. My recorder uses "AA" batteries and using phantom power out in the field is a complete drain. This mic is USB chargeable with it's own internal battery that apparently lasts 150 hours. I've used it on shoots and it has never runs out while I'm working. A great mid-starter.

Seriously AMAZING battery life, I left it on for like 5-8 hours straight one time and still had a decent amount of juice left. I honestly don't know how it's possible. The sound quality is great, a disclaimer is that I'm no audiophile, but I'm sure that it satisfies most applications. Sounds really good to me, but damn it better at that price.

Another great quality product I have from Rode. The powered mic makes it great to use with various external recording units. Sound quality is great. If you are looking to do sound work for film, documentary,, broadcast, or even music I would recommend this to them.

Exceptional on location mic for small video production company that I run. I’m not an audiophile, but this has greatly improved the quality of our final products.

I love this mike the NTG4 +, I use it with a blimp and the sound outside is awesome. No wind noise and clear vocal audio. I like the improvement over the ntg2. I highly recommend this mike.

The seller leveled this microphone a USB Microphone. But this microphone is not USB Microphone. It is a XLR microphone. USB Port is for charging battery only. Use Audio Interface with this microphone. I have got it. The best one. I was using a dynamic microphone. Dynamic microphone are very sensitive to plosive. RODE NTG+ is plosive free. Excellent quality. I am lucky because I get at discunted price.

Es un gran micrófono, muy sensible y mete menos ruido que otros micrófonos que he probado. El tema de la batería recargable es un punto a favor, porque no tengo que llevar pilas, ya que la batería dura más de 100 horas (lo que es casi dos semanas de rodaje con una sola carga) y carga muy rápido, en un par de horas. También he de decir que los filtros que incluye son bastante buenos, por ejemplo, con el que corta las frecuencias bajas (low-cut) he conseguido que un aire acondicionado apenas suene. Estoy contento con la compra de este micrófono y lo recomiendo, además, está a un precio imbatible.

Me gusta bastante la calidad del sonido, puedo darle post y sin problema me convence lo suficiente como para sentirme feliz con esto
