Long term solution to bladder crystals
I got this from my vet a long time ago because my cat had crystals and was peeing blood. It immediately fixed it but when I stopped giving it to him after a while he started having issues again. I’m thankful I got it on here for much cheaper. I literally just drop a dab in his food in the morning and he loves it.

Good quality, using to reduce urinary crystals. I like that it has chicken flavor, kitty doesn't like maple flavor. Using small amounts to start, no problems so far. Shipped quickly. Recommend.

Vet-recommended, and it worked for me!
My male cat started urinating just drops at a time, and the weekend was coming up, so I watched that he wasn't crying or plugged and started adding water to his dry and canned food. I also gave him some urinary tract support tablets for cats. He wasn't getting better or worse, and I remembered methigel from my time working at a vet's office and ordered that for arrival the next day. In less than 2 days he began urinating normally. I'm sure the recovery was a combination of the extra water, the methigel, and maybe the tablets, so I can't say methigel is some miracle paste. But he ate it readily added to his food, and the price is good. People object to the added sugars, and I agree, but knowing this was a temporary issue, I didn't have a problem with that and it is vet-recommended. Yes, it's sticky, but the gel is thick, not runny so wipe off the tube if necessary. It worked for my cat, and I plan to add it to his food a couple times a week as a preventative urine acidifier.

So Far So Good
One of our cats has been having problems with urinary crystals, so we're giving this a try to help lower his urine pH. So far he's had no more blockages. I administer by smearing the dose on his paw and lower leg which he quickly licks off.

Hope I never have to find out if it works..
The reason I titled this review the way I did is because I am using this as a supplement/preventative measure rather than using it to treat a UTI or stones. I have 2 boy cats, and boy cats are notorious for being susceptible to urinary issues. They have not had any urinary tract issues so far and my hope is that this supplement keeps it that way. That said, my cats were not really into this supplement when I first introduced it. I tried putting it on their page and they seemed annoyed. I began just putting a little on the side of their dish while they ate. Now they all love this supplement. It's very easy to give them the recommended dose since they love the taste.I wouldn't recommend using supplements like this to treat acute urinary tract issues. Instead, please take your cat to the vet for acute issues.
