GTA meets Harry Potter
I just received this game yesterday and I've already put a few hours worth of time into it. You can't help but notice the Rockstar trademark graphics and intro. Although the controls and character movements I think have improved over the San Andreas controls and movement.I found it challenging to balance the time in this game. The clock moves pretty fast, and you have to run around finding challenges as well as watching the clock to make sure you aren't truant from class or trespassing at night when you're supposed to be in bed! You also have to really watch out for the Prefects, which by the way, is the same term used in Harry Potter. Maybe it's a British thing?I have to disagree with the one reviewer saying that Jimmy is not a Bully. He isn't like the other bullies, but he does have to win the respect of others (GTA style) by protecting and beating up the Bullies. So basically Jimmy bullies the bullies.Breaking into lockers, running errands for the underpriveleged, flirting with girls, getting good grades in class, riding around on a skateboard, and one of my favorites is Dodgeball in Gym Class! And these are all things I've come across in the first few hours of play! What's next?Get this game! It's a vast array of eclectic gaming skills and entertainment styles, you won't regret it!And if you are also looking for a completely original game, graphics like I've never seen before I noticed alot of Bully buyers get Okami, which I did also, and that is like no other game graphics-wise. VERY artistic for those who's girlfriends get tired of watching you play the same ol. It is pleasing to the eye. Very artistic and original.

My second favorite game of all time!
Rockstar's "Bully" is nothing short of a masterpiece.A combination of J.D. Salinger's "The Catcher in the Rye," John Hughes' "The Breakfast Club," and any kid's movie about school between 1985 and 1996, "Bully" is an interactive adventure that puts you in the role of the Holdenesque Jimmy Hopkins, who is trying to make it through being dumped by his mother and stepfather at Bullworth Academy-- the worst school in America. There he deals with bullies, nerds, preps, jocks and greasers and slowly, over the course of the game, makes friends with each clique through mischievous schoolyard pranks and almost RPG-oriented missions. The game was fairly controversial upon release, though those criticizing it obviously didn't play it. The objective of the game is not to be a bully, but to stop the bullying at Bullworth Academy and make it a better place. The game is very fun, and is my second favorite game of all time, next to "Harvest Moon 64" (Ranch Story 2 in Japan). I anxiously look forward to a sequel to "Bully," which I hope will continue the adventures of Jimmy maybe at a college! Then they could make a video-game along the lines of "Animal House." Either way, "Bully" is a fun, light-hearted and magical video-game.I highly recommend this game!

An underrated gem from Rockstar Games
Saw a video of this on Cinemassacre, and had to try it. It's fun! The dialogue is a little stupid at times, but it's a good story. It just feels short. One thing I really like is the variety of things to do. In the GTA series, players get somewhat boxed into a world they don't relate to and doing things that are relevant only to the game and its premises. In "Bully", it's a little more expanded and elaborate. One thing I really don't like is that you're often not told what to do in some situations. You just have to guess. There are far too many buttons to press on the PS2 comptroller, and the first couple tries results in mission failure because you don't know what to do.The load times feel a little long. The music is excellent. The voice acting is hardly ever terrible. Some of the story is really easy, sometimes feeling like a baby version of GTA.I have found an odd glitch, and I wonder if others have it too. Whenever I use the wardrobe anywhere in the game, it freezes up and you can't really escape without reloading from your last save. Which means wearing the same clothes throughout the game unless you buy new ones. This can be a hassle, and it also means you'll be violating dress code regularly at the school.I enjoyed this game a lot, and it has more playability than some of the GTA series, which it is heavily based on. Give it a spin.

GREAT!! but not for your kids..
Bully is a great game where you play as kid named "Jimmy" who gets dropped off at a run down school full people who get in his way, this is a gta style game as you can steal people 's mopeds, bikes ect., you can also do other fun and funny things like throw fire crackers at police officers ao eggs, you can pretty much do anything, in my opinion this game should be rated M there is only a few diffrencecec between this game and other gta games: It diesnt have blood, or drugs, and you cant steal cars.. i reccomend you pick it up but only if you are over the a age of 15, if you are that old you will be able to handle it.. Pick up bully right now! have fun beating up the nerds hahaha
