Got the v6 plus quickly with free prime shipping, I didn't get the chance to install it till today. It was easy I had it installed on my helmet in about 5 minutes. I previously used the Fodsports BT-S3 which worked good at speeds below 55mph, any faster and the wind noise would drown out my music.I bought these for listening to my playlists on my phone during my daily commute. On my test ride today I noticed a large improvement on the sound quality and was able to hear my music clearly without maxing out the volume at 80mph+ on the interstate. The volume controls are better on the V6 plus also, my only wish is that they didn't share buttons with the next and previous song track function.The phone call quality is also very nice. I like the auto answer, I missed calls with my previous bluetooth because my hand was busy with the clutch and couldn't safely hit the button. The new button layout is another improvement, I can find all the buttons quickly even with gloves on.I highly recommend buying one, Once I find my wife her own bike I will purchase another V6 plus and try out the intercom features and add to my review.

Build quality - 4/5: It works reasonably OK. It has a tiny delay when waking up its audio which means that often times the first word or 2 of navigation is cut off, but since Google Maps usually says "take a left", that often means that the "take a" portion is cut off. Otherwise has been pretty reliable so far, and looks like it'll hold up to some abuse.The one thing I don't like is how doubletapping the volume + button *calls the last dialed number* - really?Sound quality - 3/5: I tried adjusting it as best I could, but you're really not getting any bass out of the included speakers. Maybe with better ones. It is plenty audible and loud no matter what though, so props for that. Mic quality is alright, certainly audible.Overall - 4/5: It should come as no surprise that at 1/4 of the price of a Sena/Cardo, there's some compromises to be made. This thing works for basic navigation, but music seems to lack all semblance of bass at least in my dual-sport helmet. Still, it does the most important job it's supposed to do, so I can't complain too much.

I've tried all kinds of stick-on speakers so I can listen to music or audio books on my motorbike. Some don't have enough power to overcome the noise of the wind and the bike in the highway. Some are so flimsy that they break very soon - especially the wires. THIS is the first one I've found that solves those problems. Since the inside lining of the helmet is soft material, the sticky back of the speakers doesn't hold so I got some Velcro and made one inch patches stuck to the lining and to the back of the speaker. Now the speakers stay in place, the sound is great - plenty of power - and the device is easy to manipulate while you're driving. I don't know about the multiple bike communication- - I don't use it.

After a couple of weeks of having it (I only ride weekends) the left speaker doesn’t work anymore. Is cheap, but just spend a little more money and get something that will last a while. At the end of the day I need to buy another one and it will be the same amount of money than if I bought a good one the first time around.

This is my third purchase from FODSports. We already own and regularly use a pair of M1-S helmet intercom, and an additional pair of mounts and earphones/mics for our spare helmets. I bought this third unit for use on my everyday ride and helmet on my scooter.Installation of the headphone and mic was straight forward on my LS2 helmet, although I needed to ensure it didn’t interfere with the dark visor mechanism.Charging took around 4 hours, and Bluetooth connection was easy.Audio quality is excellent; as good as the M1-S. I haven’t tried it yet in intercom mode.I like the display aspect.Only suggested improvement would be to make the mounts common between the V6 Plus and the M1-S.Overall very happy once again.

Works great paired with other intercoms (have only tested with same brand).I am giving it 3 starts because one of the mics did not work at all.The volume when the radio is on is not the best, but for the price I wasn't expecting much sound-quality-wise.

Setup was easy, and we rode for 3 hours with the intercom function on the entire time. when finished i checked the battery and it still said 100%. Currently very impressed for the cost.

Since this device is on the cheaper side I had an idea of what to expect. Sound was better than expected but just know at high speeds as others have mentioned not so great. I would buy this as a new rider who doesn't ride too often or far distances. However, after only a few uses the sound in the left side has completely gone out.Edit: Customer service is quick and great they reached out to me with a replacement with no problems. Look forward to testing it out and giving another update.
