Cordoba 20TM Tenor Ukelele

The tenor is the right size for my style, the price is on target, and the sound is right. You can spend less and get a toy, or spend a whole lot more and get a great ukulele that might be wasted on all but the best players. This is the sweet spot of a beautifully made, good sounding, good looking ukulele for those who actually want to play the instrument and enjoying doing so.

Beautiful instrument with quality craftsman ship. I bought this as my second ukulele and immediately loved it. The instrument came completely untuned so after a quick self setup it was up and running. Holding this in comparison to my Gretsch 1883, the aesthetic and feel of the instrument was superior. At this price point cordoba definitely builds a worthwhile product. This is the first product i've gotten from Cordoba but it definitely won't be my last.

This is a lovely solid top mahogany ukulele with the sides and back laminated. It has a satin finish (not glossy) and a nice wood pattern rosette matched by a strip of the same pattern on the rosewood bridge. It is very well constructed and the mahogany looks beautiful, IMO. The sound is very full, mellow, not as bright as spruce top uke (like the Cordoba 22TM, which I also have), and with decent volume. It just has a different tonality from that other uke. I'm very glad with its sound as it contrasts well with my spruce top uke. The nuts and saddle are made of synthetic material, I wish they would have used real bone like they did in the 22TM. The saddle is not compensated (unlike, again, the 22TM) and it makes the 3rd string sharp at the 12th fret (it starts to get sharp starting at fret 8th). The other strings have very good intonation. It comes with Aquila Nylgut strings and the tuners are cheaper than in the 22TM (actually one of them has a rough feeling, different from the others). I don't understand why they put those cheaper components (tuning pegs, uncompensated composite saddle) in the 20TM compared to the 22TM as both ukes are within the same price range, and they complement each other in sound and looks (I'm actually glad I have them both). Currently, It does not come with a gig bag.

Excellent craftsmanship, quality, and price. I had a soprano version and when the time came to step up to a Tenor, I purchased this same make and model. Cordoba makes classical guitars so I should not be surprised this is the real deal compared to other 'eye candy' models with some theme.

Bought for my son’s 30th birthday and he loves it! He played guitar in grade school and all those lessons paid off. Plays all the time with fun apps for learning songs and joined a weekly group. Make sure you buy the digital tuner, a strap and case. Case was featured in pictures but was not included. Sound is excellent, mahogany is beautiful. He has also bought a music stand.

Good quality. the Ukulele experts all say so (all of my friends) Great price. a good starting point for entry Ukulele players.

Missing case. Neither Cordoba nor Amazon wanted to help. Amazon finally game me a 15% discount, which did not cover the cost of me buying the bag. It was $35.00 and the discount totaled $26.70. It is a nice instrument, but the not providing the items in the description is fraudulent.

Product arrived with a deep gouge on the face of the uke. Other than that it is a nice instrument

I bought the ukulele for my wife. It's beautiful and it sounds amazing. Love the satin finish on the wood which made it look elegant, and serious. Other ukuleles tended to look like a cheap toy. Even when still not tuned, it sounded amazing. The tone is rich and full and not tinny and twangy. Amazon did a great job in the delivery, too. Fast and hassle-free. I am a very happy shopper.
