Works excellent, smells excellent.
I love the way my car smells after using this!It makes the leather soft and supple again. If you have worn leather areas that seem a little dirty, like the creases on the driver seat, it is best to try to use another cleaner first on those areas and then go over it with this Rich Leather, and even let it soak in a little before wiping it. Rich Leather does clean, but only very lightly... it doesn't get those dirty looking creases or the perforated seats very well.I use it on all the leather all over my cars (seats and doors) and it is great. It softens up those worn areas and on the areas that aren't worn or creased it just makes it look even better and feel better.I do not notice any shine or residue at all, and I tend to use a lot of this stuff at a time. It's not slippery either. In those creased areas I spray it on and let it sit for a couple seconds/ a minute and then wipe. it really works wonders to soften it up and make it look better and cleaner. On our leather steering wheels, this stuff is amazing and doesn't make them slippery. My steering wheel looks like new and is so much softer. I do the steering wheel last, after the microfiber towel is saturated from doing the rest of the car. Rub or try to clean any dirty or gunky spots and then fold the rag and go around the whole wheel as if i am trying to twist the wheel ...the rag goes front to back, front to back, the whole way around the wheel. Then after I do that for a while and get it good and clean, I open the rag/towel and thread it through a section of the steering wheel so that theres an end of the towel in front and an end in the back and then I pull each end back and forth very quickly and go around the whole steering wheel like this a few times. The thing looks amazing when i'm done. Soft, clean and just a very subtle shine without being slippery at all.. (my leather steering wheel is smooth leather, not textured, so it gets a soft sheen since it is so smooth). Doing it that way with the rag or towel also cleans the leather stitching. The results and the smell make this an amazing product.

Gives me the results I was looking for
I've never had leather seats before so cleaning and maintaining them was new to me. I did a bit of research and discovered that most leathers in cars now are actually coated with a layer of very thin plastic. So it's unlikely that any of the conditioner will actually reach the leather.Having said that, it probably can't hurt to apply some conditioner while at the same time cleaning the surface. Further, what will probably protect the surface the most are the UV inhibitors as that will help prevent breakdown of the surface coating on the leather and help prevent discoloration. After using this product on both of my leather seats I'm very happy with the result. I've seen some people say it made their seats slippery but that wasn't the case for me at all. In fact, if anything the seats feel more "grippy" because of how squeaky clean they are. I used a pretty modest amount and in the case of your seats the old phrase "less is more" probably applies here. If done right I don't think this product shouldn't leave a shine. If it does, go back over it with a clean cloth until it's not shiny anymore. In my case i applied the product to a microfiber cloth first then rubbed it into the leather.

Very good product
I've used this product on my 2008 Audi A4 a couple of times now and I'm pleased with it. I bought it based on the recommendation of other Audi owners and I'm glad I took the suggestion, it's really made my leather seats look great. I don't care for the smell though. It's very much a chemical odor for two or maybe three days after application. Only time will tell if it'll do a good job protecting the seats from Arizona's sun. (Seems like any used car I've seen in AZ that's 2005 or older has cracked leather - then again I bet none of those folks did anything to protect the seats!)The only slightly negative aspect to this spray is that my seats are pretty slippery for at least several days after use, some people suggest that it's because of "cheap" leather seats (I don't have the high-end Recaro leather) so perhaps that's not anything having to do with Meguiar's spray itself. Our only other vehicle with "leather" is a Honda Accord (and if I remember correctly the brochure called the seats leatherette, likely meaning fake leather), so I imagine those seats also will be slick after use too.All-in-all I'd recommend Meguiar's, it's a reputable brand and inexpensive when bought here on Amazon. Definitely better than having a car wash do your seats with some random product!Edit: March 30th, 2014:It seems like the product might've been reformulated. It works just as well as ever but has a different smell now. I don't really know how to describe the scent but it's reasonably pleasant. Also, be sure to give the bottle a good shake before using!

It works!
This was the only product I found that cleaned off my husbands sunscreen which made the inside of our vehicles look like they had been white and washed. Thank you for a great product!

Excellent product thats highly-rated on automotive and detailing sites
I've used this stuff for years. A short synopsis:- one of the best rated automotive leather cleaners and treatments on NUMEROUS high-end automotive and detailing websites- goes on very easy.. squirt a LOT of product directly into the towel, wipe on all plastics and leathers- I let it dry for a few hours (or preferably overnight) before sitting in the car, but not necessary- excellent scent- makes the plastics and leathers look vibrant and rich with a tiny luster, but it doesn't go overboard like if you were using Armor All wipes- a VERY slight greasy feel that goes away after a few days- will not absorb into your hands/skin/clothing once applied and dried to the car
