MacGregor® Batting Tee - Replacement Tube

Simple and easy. Must have this. Tee work is the most important skill for kids and anyone looking to improve their baseball skills. If you don’t hit it’s hard to win games. Like how easy this is to transport and it was relatively in expensive. The value is off the charts.

Worst tee ever

Tee after a year of hitting split so instead of buying the whole thing a new tube for $8 was the best way to go. The tube will only last 6 months to a year depending how much you use it but my son uses it on average a couple times a week and the splitting started after 6-7 months and finally became broken by about a year. An 8 dollar replacement and the "Hands Inside Trainer" attachment will hopefully extend the life of the tee tube this time around. By the way, my son is almost 13 so the first tube took a beating.

I bought the MacGregor tee to use while coaching my sons' t-ball and machine pitch teams. It lasted a full year, spring ball, summer fun, fall ball, and backyard hitting in between. I am satisfied with its durability given the fact that it truly took a beating and will be happy to purchase a replacement inner tube every year if it takes the pounding this thing took.To clarify, this tee consists of three main pieces: the base (shaped like home plate), the lower tube (the heavy lower tube which has metal in it for stability), and the inner tube which is sold here (top part of the tee which is all rubber and telescopes in and out of the lower tube for height adjustment).

Exactly as described. Same exact size as original but you wouldn't know it because mine keeps sliding down. Very odd. The one I received is so slick that it keeps falling down the base. I had to wrap the bottom of the tube with one layer of tape to give it some friction and stop it from falling down the tube.

Nice heavy and sturdy batting tee. The heaviness is good because it helps the tee stay upright if you miss the ball and hit the tee by accident. After a summer of use the top part of the tee split, although we were still able to continue using it. Fortunately, this upper part of the tee is available separately so that it can be replaced more cost effectively than replacing the entire tee. I have had other tees that were of inferior quality and didn't even hold up a month. I highly recommend this tee.

This product allowed us to continue using old bases for baseball practices. Very durable!
