I've also used many air compressors in my life/career, maybe a dozen. So I think I can offer a review. A number of posts said this can arrive damaged. Mine did too, but mine's only some bent sheet metal, nothing cracked or missing. The reason why there are so many damage reports: is this thing is heavy! The wheels make it easy to move, but only if you're on the same floor, like a garage. This would be perfect for a garage shop! I have a basement shop, and while I was able to get it downstairs step-by-step with the wheels, it's staying in the basement. The thing is heavy so if you're a travelling handyman, you're not gunna be lugging this tank in and out of the truck. Noise-wise, yeah it's quieter than the big piston reciprocating air compressors... but mostly anything is quieter that those monsters with the caged pulley flywheel. This one has dual compressor heads that remind me of a california air style. You'll need hearing protection if you're working right next to the thing. The tank on this is badass. The size is great if you're busting out tools occasionally in your man cave. All-day every-day, where it's gotta be making you money?--nah you're gunna need something else probably. This would be a great boost compressor for a busy multiperson shop though! The two quick-connect socket outlets and big beefy knob up front sealed the deal for me.
