I used two pieces of this to make a homemade thermoform press and have had zero problems with it. I put a lot of pressure on this foam in the press and it lives up to it. I guess you could make a small clamshell press out of one piece (you know, fold the foam like a book around the thermoform) but it'd be tiny.
