Can the wild princess find a good guy to calm her, even though it's supposed to be fake engagement?
Lizzie, the wild child of the British royal family, is famous for her scandals. She has multiple tattoos and seems to have a new partner every week, and the paparazzi ate that up. When she ran into Phillip, an old friend of her brother Jamie, sparks flew. It helps that Lizzie had a secret crush on Phillip for a while... // Phillip was jilted by his woman, or at least he thought was his woman, when she chose someone else. Phillip, a bit despondent, accepted Lizzie's attention. He agreed to help her rehabilitate her image by creating an image that they'd been together. After all, he's the goodie-two-shoes, so squeaky-clean, he's running for Parliament soon. And this fake liaison between the two worked almost a bit too well... Now she's wondering if it can be real, and not merely a PR campaign... Can she learn to be a good girl for once? Not feeling much with this one. This "alternate universe" British monarchy just grates on my nerves sometimes. This one was a bit more tolerable than some of the other books in the series. There is a sense of that tremendous weight upon one's shoulders being a royal, and how different people found different ways to cope. Somehow, the flip from party-girl into charity-girl seems a bit abrupt.

Another great Royal Romance from Molly Jameson
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, THE PRINCESS ROYAL is the second installment in the Royal Romances series by Molly Jameson. This time we meet Lizzie, the impetuous, but kind hearted daughter of the crown. Lizzie is struggling to find her place in the world and can't seem to win. Yes, she does tend to leap before she looks, but it really seems like no matter what she does her parents are disappointed and the press paints her as a frivolous girl. After a while it was just easier to fit the role and have fun. Luckily Phillip, a character from the first book, helps her see her value, not as the princess but as person that can do good in the world. This was a great read with believable and likable characters. I am hooked on this series and I can't wait for the next book to come out!

Rather enjoyable
The second in the series and rather enjoyable. I liked the characters, but must say some of it was rather far fetched. The author has re-written history and created a totally different English Royal Family. This does not take away from the story, but does grate a little for this history buff. The Princess Royal is a nice read and held my attention to the end.

Great series of books
Loved this book and series. It's about the fictious royal family in Englans, with the trails of all the royal children, their fights for the people they love with a few scandals thrown in to make the books enjoyable to read.

Another lovely addition!
Another lovely addition to Molly Jameson's royalty work! Another set of believable characters and a plausible plot. I identified with Lizzie because of my own insecurities and it reminded me of Susan Elizabeth Phillips characters because I could relate to her feelings and self-doubt. I can't wait for the next one!

Very Good Sequel!
This is Princess Eliza (Lizzy)'s story. Lizzy is the older sister of Princes Jamie & Edward from the first book. These events take place after the marriage of Edward &Carrie from Book 1. Lizzy is something of a free wheeling, embrrassment to the royal family. She even has 2 tattoos & is thinking of getting a third. At a tedious musical presentation, Lizzy runs into brother Jamie's friend Phillip Rhys-Cooper who was recently jilted by the sister of her new sister in law Carrie. The two have known each other for years but this night everything changes. She has secretly had a crush on Phillip for years. Phillip is the complete OPPOSITE of Lizzy, but she gradually shows him she's not really the wild child the press paints her. In turn, she helps Phillip forget his almost marriage & teaches him to unbend a little.. Very good story & HEA!

Another lovely read from Molly Jameson. This time is ...
Another lovely read from Molly Jameson. This time is Lizzie, not your typical princess - tattoos and ADHD. She decides to help out a friend, Philip, by posing as his girlfriend, and (spoiler alert!), they fall for each other, but can they overcome Lizzie's commitment issues? Can't wait for more in this series.
