It's a pretty straightforward item and it does what it's supposed to do: keep the elastomer and the rest of the moving parts clean[er]. This really should be included with the seat post purchase, as it's a bit annoying to have to order separately, but that's a small gripe. It's easy to install, but there were no instructions included. Hint: you have to remove the seat post, thread the post through the openings in the cover, slide it up and velcro closed.

I could go on and on about the ST; it would just be hyperbole. JUST BUY IT. It's among the highest rated g-force absorbing seat posts out there; the one's that beat it (by only ~5%) are both carbon and one of 'em is $$$. Once you buy it, GET THE BOOT. Yes it's a touch expensive but is nicely and tightly shaped. It will keep your lubricated ST totally clean and also protect the $10 elastomer from UV degradation. You'll save replacing the elastomer annually and reduce your lubing maintenance to about once a year, also.

Does not match picture.No instructions for installation. Though mounting process was reasonably evident from design. Reflective patch toward rear. Fits tightly to keep dirt/dust away from pivots & shades elastomer from UV.

I bought this seat damper for my gravel bike because, as a 60-year old hooligan, I've found that jarring bumps were traveling through my back unimpeded and causing sharp pain in my neck. Not any more! While these don't make the ride anything like a full suspension MTB, it definitely dampens the impact of sharper bumps. Recommend.

La foto della sacca protettiva è quella del modello LT (long travel) mentre in realtà il prodotto che è arrivato è per il modello ST (short travel), molto più piccolo ed assolutamente incompatibile col modello LT. Ho dovuto fare il reso dell'articolo per avere il rimborso

Ich dachte auch erst beim auspacken, der ist viel zu klein? Ist er aber nicht. Er passt wie angegossen über die ST, man muss sie 1. richtig herum überziehen und 2. dehnt sie sich. Also nicht wundern, sie passt wirklich und schützt die ST vor Staub und Schmutz

Artikel so wie beschrieben, Anleitung für Anbringung fehlte, Sitz der Löcher nicht waren nicht eindeutig genug.Artikel nach "empfinden" verbaut.

entgegen anderer Bewertungen passt das Cover eigentlich gut um das Gelenk der Sattelstütze. Schützt die Gelenke vor Dreck und verlängert die Lebensdauer (hoffentlich).
