WOW!!!! This thing is PERFECT for the beach! My family of 4 spent the week in Florida at a condo that was not ocean front. About 100 to 150 yds to the beach. We had a cooler with about 20 cans and a few water bottles + ice, 2 sometimes 3 additional beach chairs, a large beach bag with sand toys, goggles towels, sunscreen etc plus a bag to put our belongings in. This thing handled all of it with strength and room to spare. The best part is that it is not a gimmick or cheesy idea! It is actually a VERY comfortable chair. In fact, of the 4 chairs we had it was by far the best! It reclines to almost flat and has several adjustments for comfort. I fell asleep in it a few times. NOW.......... As far as construction goes, they do tell you not to exceed 150 lbs. I believe but do not quote me on that. I am 6’4” tall and about 250 and I am very certain that I exceeded their recommendation. However I did not discover that fact until our 4th day and I was showing the Amazon page to one of the 100’s of people that asked where we got it! Oops! I actually used it all week and was very comfortable and it held up well. I wouldn’t push it much more than I did.The only negative is that it does not roll all that great across the loose beach sand. I realize that is why you probably want to purchase this item like we did and it may not make sense now. All that said, it wasn’t terrible for one person to drag it. We took turns. If you have 2 people it is much easier to have a person grab the handle up front and take some of the weight off to help across the sand. Everywhere else it rolls great! Across blacktop, grass, tile, concrete etc it is great. As far as up and down stairs, again I recommend a second person to help. There is a convenient grab bar on the front. This chair/cart is perfect for the beach, a must have! Just be prepared to tell EVERYONE where you got it because everyone will ask you.

I got this chair as a Father’s Day gift after seeing an article online about it. My dad loves this chair and it’s ability to cary all of their belongings with them inside from their boat to the beach.

Works exactly as expected! Rolls easily over concrete, gravel and sand. Holds a ton of stuff! Also makes a comfy seat.
