 This thermometer is pretty easy to use once you get the hang of it. To switch to British Fahrenheit measurement let the device tie out and auto power off which takes about a minute, then hold down the button for three seconds and it will wake up in the other unit system.To use the device on the forehead put on the transparent cover which switched the unit to forehead mode. press lightly on the forehead and press the button, a measurement gets taken and the device beeps to say it is done. To use in the ear remove the transparent cover and the head icon on the display changes to an ear to let you know that it is ready, again insert gently into the outer ear press the button and the device beeps to let you know that it is done.The device should be wiped down with alcohol after use or perhaps with a sterile wipe. You need to leave it for a minute of two to allow the alcohol to evaporate and the instrument to get back to room temperature.Great item for the home medical kit.

The thermometer is comfortable to handle. It allows measurement of temperature from the forehead as well as ear thanks to removable cap. The surface is made of smooth plastic and is easy to clean. The equipment takes 2 AAA batteries (not included), which power fairly large display (2x3 cm) considering the total size. The on/off button is located perfectly under thumb allowing quick operation. Readings are very clear also thanks to the green backlight. The thermometers saves last temp readings so you can easily monitor the trend. Something to improve would be the user manual English, which is not the best although not to bad too. The protective cap is not very easy to remove initially however that may change with time. All in all it is very decent product for very reasonable price.

Best thermometer I’ve ever had. Quick and easy to read results. Just press the head button and run it across the patients head from one side to the other and you get an accurate reading. Great for use on children, the elderly and the rest of the family.

As thermometers go, this one is one of the best. It is easy to use, read and operate. The results are also very quick, gone are the days of holding the thermometer under your tongue and waiting what seems to get a readout. This thermometer is also ideal for children as it is just a matter of popping it for a few seconds into the ear (or on their forehead), no fuss, no tears. Highly recommended.

This thermometer is so easy to use, either on the forehead or inside the ear! Also very much like the difference in light display. Green being ok, orange is uh-oh be careful, and red telling you to go straight to bed and don’t come out until you’re better. On top of that it came a lot quicker than expected -coincidentally the day before one of us got sick and we really needed it!

Can’t fault it in any way, good value for your money and simple to use.The main thing is how accurate it is, so I compared with my neighbors Braun (£35!) ear thermometer which doesn’t even do forehead reading, readings between the two were 0.2 different but consistent throughout, so jusale held up to the challenge no problem. Easy and quick to use on kidsHopefully it will last long time

Bought this to use with a 4 year old & a new born. It’s such a straight forward set up, it makes taking temps much easier than the disposable thermometers!Clear digital display & excellent value for money - much cheaper than the leading brands too which is a bonues as it does exactly the same job!Relatively compact so could be kept in a changing bag or changing station!

With a low body temperature this device is okay but too may LO readings and is unhappy around 35c.No doubt it would be a very good choice for most people, unfortunately not me. Nice looking and easy to use with very clear readout when I can actually record temperature.
