Instructions are a bit vague but you can learn a lot by trial & error & daily use.They're certainly strong & easily support a heavy basket & make dead-heading & watering etc. so much easier.

I was worried these might not be able to hold my 3 large hanging baskets but they are big and sturdy pulleys and hold well. So far they work well, being able to pull them down to water and then pushing them back up, and they stay up ok.

These pulleys do exactly what is asked, good little products.

If your baskets are the 12" or possibly 14" ones, they could be useful, but my baskets are 16" so they're very heavy, especially when wet. They're so heavy that I can't even support the weight enough to lift the basket enough to unlock it in order to lower the basket. They should lower up to 32" I think, so just make sure that you'll be able to support the weight of your baskets in order to release the catch which lowers them for you.

Purchased three to enable me to easily water my hanging baskets.On 3rd day, one device failed to retract, even without the hanging basket on it.Decided to take apart to investigate, and found that the whole mechanism is held onto the case by a plastic stork, which had totally snapped away from the case (see picture).Whoever designed this needs their head testing, as no way will it hold anywhere near the 22lbs it says it can hold. I am now going to simply drill a hole either side of the casing and put a bolt through to fix properly.Certainly recommend the designers going back to the drawing board and replacing that plastic stem with a bolt.Just now waiting for the other two pulleys to fail.

I was weary of the reviews when I ordered these but so far so good. They’re great for deadheading and watering my hanging baskets. They take a bit of getting used to in order to bring them up and down and a lot cheaper than my local garden centre. Only down side is the actual bit that holds the wire seems a lot bigger than in the images but it’s not an issue.

The media could not be loaded. Great value for money. I bought the pack of 3 and they are all in use. Easy to use and they are coping with quite heavy baskets when watered. Wish I'd bought years ago as it makes it so much easier to water and dead head. Just a little lift up and the mechanism releases allowing the basket to drop - keep your hand under basket to control drop- locks when you stop and same to raise back up.

Bought this 23/6/24. All 3 have broken now. Don't hang anything more than a plastic plant pot with dried flowers in it. Poor quality

halten zwar was sie versprechen, aber hoch und runter ist nicht so einfach wie gedacht. eigentlich ist nur eine Einstellung möglich, zum gießen runterziehen und wieder auf ausgangshöhe bringen geht nicht. dazu muss das ganze system wieder abgebaut werden, schade.

Parfait. Très costaud, je n'en sers pour accrocher la douche de camping (20kilos).Petit bémol, le crochet du bas n'étant pas fermé, si on remonte trop vite, ce qui est accroché se décroche, et après il faut aller chercher l’escabeau pour récupérer ce crochet (je ne sais pas si je suis clair). Une modif de ce crochet ne serait pas superflue.
