great for lightening foundation
great for lightening foundation, if you want a pure white face I'll give you some tips. this product alone won't do it. You need to layer it on, but not cake it. First get off some peach fuzz off your face, you can use a tinkle razor or whatever razor you want. You can skip this step if you don't like shaving your face, I just personally think looks better since white makeup is super obvious to flaws, so the smoother the surface, the better.Next exfoliate, get off an dry and dead skin off your face and use primer. Next get a white face paint, like mehron or kryolan (it cost like $8), and get a nice base going carry it down the next and cover your ears. If you have long hair put it in a pony tail. Once you have a nice base, it's not going to look perfect. get a tiny bit of this foundation and use a beauty sponge or brush and blend (lightly tap) your face with it, and slowly layer it till it's cover. Don't get impatient and apply too much at once and make sure everything is dry with each coat. So you're not just caking you face in it, if you do it right you'll have a nice even tone without wasting a ton of product. Finally seal it, if you have a white foundation powder I'd recommend using that to help seal and get more coverage. Like the foundation don't use too much and lightly blend it in. Then use a setting spray, I prefer nyx matte setting spray. Now I don't really use white foundation to go out, I occasionally use this method to get a nice even tone of any shade and I do see people thinking of purchasing it to get that pure white slate. This product alone won't do it, but it can help you get it with other products. Like building it up on a mehron paint, mehron tends to be a bit tacky and sticky so it'll help get it to stick the the skin and help you save product.I'd recommend it be in everyone's beauty bag as well as a few bronzers your skin tone, Neutral, Warm, Or Cool. This way you can use this and the bronzer, to make the perfect highlight and contour foundation that matches your skin tone. You can also you a foundation within you skin tone a few shades darker instead of bronzer. Very versatile product whether you need it to help you get that white face paint or just as a foundation lightener.

Yes! Perfect Mixer!
I am very pale. Most high-end foundations do not carry a shade light enough for me (those that do are priced at levels akin to purchasing an expensive piece of kitchen equipment, and I do not have the means/desire to pay such prices for cosmetics). I have yet to find a single drugstore foundation that is pale enough. I've searched for pure white foundations in the past, but Ilimasqua, MAC, and Makeup Atilier are all outside of my price range.Even with expedited shipping, Manic Panic was a bargain. It has solved my color-matching problems. Now I can buy any brand I choose and not have to sweat over whether the pale loveliness the counter mirror reflects will suddenly oxidize into an orangey, faux-tan mess as soon as the sunlight hits it. This mixes well with liquid foundations, does not irritate my sensitive skin, and does not mess with the consistency of the foundations because I only need a little bit. I have not tried it with whipped, foam, or any other non-traditional makeup formats. It does have a luminous finish. Dewy and brightening could also describe it well. Therefore, it does affect matte finish foundations. It doesn't turn, say, Revlon Colorstay into L'Oral Lumi or anything that dramatic. However, it takes away matte's ability to be truly matte. My dry skin benefits more from a dewy finish anyway, so straight-up matte is rarely my go-to. However, when I do want a more matte finish, I set my entire face with a pressed powder and the shine disappears almost entirely. And hey, I'd rather have a textural issue with my final look rather than have that dreaded pinky/nude ring between my face and my neck from ill-matching foundation.I cannot comment on how it compares to the astronomically-priced luxury brands. But since a product that costs less than lunch at a sub shop does the job just fine for me, I have no plan or desire to try other brands.I highly, highly recommend it to pale people needing something to pale-up even the palest of foundation shades. Also, I use this strictly as a mixer. I don't dress up as a vampire or clown, so I don't need to completely blank out my entire face. So, I cannot comment on its ability (or lack of) to work well in that area. Therefore, it does not affect my full-stars rating since I do not use it for that purpose.
