GREAT PRODUCT - COMPACT - PORTABLE & VERY STRONG & STURDY - DURABLE
Love this little guy. I lost my original one during a move.I had looked and looked for a replacement and it appeared to have been discontinued, or maybe I just didn't know how to do a proper search at the time.Whatever was going on, as soon as I saw this online, I bought it.My guitar has a Gibson Les Paul type body. When I bought my first one, I thought my guitar (or any guitar) would not stay affixed in it.I was wrong. I was surprised at how snug and safe my guitar sits in it.The craftsmanship is beyond what I expected.Solid metal.I get a natural high when I see my guitar sitting in it.It's a great portable knockaround guitar stand.I highly recommend. My only regret is not posting this review back when I purchased it.

Great quality, very sturdy, and works with bass guitars
Super sturdy and made of netal with strong rubber like pading tgat keeps your guitar/bass from sliding.I got this as I needed a portible stand for my bass during breaks/pauses at gigs, and was tired of leaning my guitars up against an amplifier or trying to repack it when the band went on breaks... It does the job and more and doesn't take up alot of space which is good from some of the tighter gigs.I've used this with my Lakland 5 string and my BTB 6 string with no issues. It also easily folds up into my Mono Vertigo gig bags main pocket. Had this thing for 3 years after a friend recommended it, and beleive its a great value.I 1000% recommend this over some of the plastic folding ones or the taller in size options. If your reading this review, just buy it!

I stand by this stand.
I wanted to give this stand some usage time before reviewing. It is just shy of two months now. I am very happy with this purchase. I was slightly concerned about my bass fitting the stand. Thankfully, it worked out just fine with my Schecter Stiletto Custom-5 String. This appears to be well constructed. There were no noticeable chemical smells. It folds up nice and compact for storing. It’s easy to lock into place and setup. It has enough weight to feel secure in keeping my instrument from tipping or falling. The pad that the back of the bass rests on has enough of a non slip grip to keep it from sliding. If you use a shoulder strap, it may catch on the folding arms of the stand as you pick up your bass. Keep this in mind so as not to inadvertently pick up and drop the stand. My toes narrowly avoided conflict.

I can’t use any other stand now.
I am very glad that I got this stand. I’ve had dozens of guitar stand this over the years. This one has a sturdy construction. I use it to hold my Fender Jazz Bass, which basically means that it can hold a heavy instrument with an asymmetrical bottom. It has a small footprint when it is holding an instrument, which means it does not take up a lot of space on the floor. Despite the low height I feel like my instrument is very well supported. It is also extremely portable. It fits very well into a gig bag.My daughter permanently borrowed mine, so I gladly bought another one. Super sturdy. It also probably makes a really good melee weapon when folded.

Excellent mini tilt stand
I MUCH prefer hanging stands for my bass guitars -- my favorites are made by Hercules. With hanging stands, security is better: for the instrument to fall over, the entire stand has to fall over. With a tilt stand, the instrument could slide over sideways if bumped -- this seems like more of a possibility with an offset body bass such as a Fender Jazz. Also, with a hanging stand, the bass is secured under the headstock, so there's no worry about whether the support will bump into any of the control knobs in the instrument. All that said, I had to buy a tilt-stand because I bought a headless bass, and obviously a headless bass can't be supported by a hanging stand. For that bass, this mini stand works very well so I'll give it five stars. As noted it's trickier to use than a hanging stand: I have to make sure the support doesn't bump any control knobs, and another factor is that my headless bass has two strap buttons on the bottom of the body, so I have to align the supports with those as well. But it does work without much effort, and the stand collapses very small, so I'll give five stars.Nitpick: the drawstring broke on the carry bag. It was possibly my fault, I recall that the bag was caught in a hinge of my folding cart so maybe the cord got scissored? No big deal, the bag is still usable, and it's a nice-to-have rather than a must-have.

Awesome for most styles, but NOT for offset guitars!
Firm legs, sturdy structure, minimalist styling - what's not to like?!! I love it for my P-bass and Strat during practice sessions, but not so much for my J-bass - Jazzy never really sits in there properly and tilts enough off to the side that the lower bout is ready to slip off (in another few degrees of angle or so) , but hasn't yet (I'm reeeeaaal careful - it only has another 1.5-2 inches before it's outside the stand's 'fingertips'). Soft-touch surfaces guard against scratches and the legs snap into place using sturdy detents, ensuring they stay put. A solid product as long as you use it for those non-offset solid-body guitars!

Awesome but long transit time
Finally found a packable guitar stand. This took a month or so to deliver, tracking still shows it as in transit and I’ve had it for a week now.. anyways the stand is awesome, comes with the yellow carrying bag. I throw this into my jansport backpack with my mini pedal board, a coupe power/instrument cables and my water bottle. It’s a super convenient size. One thing to note is that this is a great option for rounded bottom guitars like strats/teles and les Paul’s, but would not hold things like a Flying V or Warlock, my buddies Abasi guitar did not fit, it’s angled bottom contour touches the floor.I had the book folding L frame “Amazon Basic” stand since it had over a thousand good reviews, but that thing has performance issues I could not deal with and takes up a lot of space. It’s sized for both acoustic and electric so a bit overkill. This stand, only for electric, is only what I need and in the perfect size.
