Great Book
This is one of the most important book in the area of infrastructure asset management available in the market. If you are a civil engineer or interested in public infrastructure asset management, this is a must to read book.

Good if you do AM in transportation. Not much good for anything else.
One of the worst text books I've ever had to read and incredibly expensive for what it was. I was in a facility-flavored asset management course. The authors of this book clearly have a background heavily into transportation."Engineering Systems: Meeting Human Needs in a Complex Technological World" by Oliver de Weck is a far better book on the subject.

Dr. Imad, Great textbook
With our aging infrastructures, current shrinking resource, the theme everywhere of doing more with less, this book is a great start to look at ways to manage any assets to address challenges some industries are faced with. The authors have done a great job to provide up to date step by step on how to manage your assets and how to find a suitable solution to save time and money. I highly recommend this book and intend to use it as textbook for my next class.

Good start. If you're an experienced professional, probably a little too much shallow water here.
A good overview of Public Infrastructure. You will need other sources if you want to get into the details, but for a complex topic it is a good start.
