I love the shape of these bowls--taller sides and not so wide. I wanted something other than mason jars for my sourdough starter that wouldn't take up too much space. I was afraid to order them based on reviews making them sound way too thin. When they arrived, I was surprised by how thick and sturdy they seemed. Sure, they are glass, so we need to be careful with them! But I expected them to be super thin. First I ordered pyrex because of these reviews. But the shape of pyrex wasn't right for me (and the Pyrex bowls were awkward to stack!), so I returned them and ordered these. They are almost as thick as the pyrex. The only downside is there is nothing written anywhere on them, which makes me suspect they are not actually MADE in Europe. Maybe when they say "crafted" they mean designed? The price is high, but I am suspicious they were actually made in China.

I'm very impressed with these mixing bowls. They are very well built--the glass is quite thick. Very nice finish--they are much more substantial than Pyrex glass. They came very well packed with a well packed manufacturer box with padding, and foam/bubble wrap shipping box from the retailer. a perfect size bowl for many uses

Its Marvelous I use it inside the Presto cooker 8qts I have , on top of the steel inner pot it has since its not high grade stainless steel high quality , for high and low heat cooking .

I had expected a very small rim, but this rim is very smooth and does not offer the slightest grip. On the other hand it is a very nice serving bowl. The top of the rim has a bluish glass color which is attractive.

This is a great mult-use bowl. It is a perfect weight, looks good for use as a serving bowl, and is a great size. I needed a bowl that was microwave safe and would fit in a small microwave without bubbling over the sides. Very happy with this purchase.

I thought I got a different size bowl but it was the right size. Good bowl. Good seller.
