The lights themselves look pretty good on an open tank! That along with the four different light modes make it pretty nice.The mounting situation needs some work. The length of the arms along with the "c" clamp style mount makes it work best with small tanks. I was able to mount it to a command clip behind the tank. The bulbs themself unscrew which makes for easy replacement, but makes me kind of nervous having something that looks like an open socket over open water.For the price, it's a decent purchase!

Fantastic lights for the price, great output, and really highlights my corals. Did not know what to expect as these are my first Chinese LEDs, but I am very impressed.I wish the arms were a bit longer and stiffer, but if used on a shallow 10 gallon, these would be great beginner lights for a nano. It would also be nice to have the option to mount them on a tank, so before you buy make sure you plan out your tank so that a flat edge of a table is close to the tank. would recommend, especially for qt tanks, nanos, or small frag tanks. Just make sure the mount is right for you before you buy.

This light is just dangerous!110V in a device that is not water proof, right above water level is plain dangerous.There is no transformator that converts the voltage to something lower, so you get all 110V right near your tank.Also, as another reviewer said, the dimming functionality is ridiculous - you have to actually turn it on and off 4 times to get to the same brightness as it was if you switch it off.Oh, I so wanted to like it.

This product is great and exceeded my expectations, the LED bulbs are full spectrum and extremely bright compared to other clip on lights within the same price range. The clamp has soft foam padding for protection and does the job. Three light intensity settings are available through the toggle switches which can only be engaged manually, not very useful if you put the lights on a timer but its still an option. These bulbs are good enough for small/nano reef tanks or planted tanks. The bulbs are replaceable and not integrated into the lamp like other options in its price range.

The lights themselves are very bright and are just ok on the output. The bulbs have a flicker that is just at the edge of human perception.What is horrible about this product is that the goosenecks that this comes with are very weak and cannot support the weight of the bulbs. It makes the product almost useless unless you support the bulbs against something else like the aquarium themselves.Also beware of they size. The bulbs are about the size of my hand and I was not careful enough to notice that detail. I assumed they were smaller bulbs (thumb sized) but I was mistaken.

I bought these lights to add more light to my 40g reef tank. These lights work very well, but I wouldn't use them to light anything bigger than a 20g tank. Shows good coloration, good brightness but bulbs get really hot. All in all I would recommend this product to anyone looking to buy on a budget.

It is a fairly bright light that is meant for a starter saltwater tank. It is not meant to be growing anything intense although it will grow certain types of coral. The fish seem to love it and it really shows off their vibrant colors. Seems to work better on a planted aquarium but it is suitable for a saltwater.

The lights work very well, and fit my 10 gal with 2" clearance over the lid.My disappointment comes from the advertisement that the lights have an adjustable brightness. This is false. There is an independent on/off switch for both lights, but no brightness setting.
