Can fit into FJ Cruiser
Great sound with easy install. For FJ owners, you can use these in the front dash. Cut off the factory plug from existing speakers and wire onto these. You will need to remove the bracket and place these on the brackets mounting holes. Also must remove the plastic shroud that's attached to the grate cover over the dash speaker/tweeter.

Bang for Buck
Installed into the dash of a 2006 Grand Cherokee. Very easy plug n play with an adapter cable. Sound quality is awesome. An amazing and cheap upgrade for a car that had crackly front speakers. Now I can crank my radio up 😎

Perfect dash speakers ;Update 8/18
I have a 1987 LeBaron,it’s like new but the audio was fried. I purchased a Kenwood eXelon head unit and matching 6+9s for the rear deck and 5 1/2s for the doors .Also a 10” exelon sub for a custom enclosure in trunk. The factory installed 3.5” speakers in the dash to be used as tweeters. Kenwood doesn't make a 3.5" in the eXelon series but I wanted to keep things the same brand so I figured I'd give these a try. I'm glad I did. They truly sound great in this application and the slightly lower wattage matches the deck perfectly. I did have to do a very little dremel work in the dash opening to get the speaker basket to fit, but just a sliver. All seven Kenwood speakers went in with minimal work and left the car looking totally stock. Myself I really dislike the butchered up look some system installations result in, aftermarket grills & the like. I was so pleased with this system I purchased a similar Kenwood system & installed it in my wifes Maxima .again, no appearance of modifications. I have to be honest I’m extremely pleased with the quality and features of both the speakers & deck considering the price.I'm certain this won't be my last KW purchase as I have several cars & trucks that are in need of a audio upgrade. Just for the record I was in no way encouraged to post this review , just pleased with the product.By the way , if your installing the 3.5"s upright in the dash, I strongly suggest placing a felt or linen guard over the top to keep debris from falling in & causing issues. I found some felt at a craft store, applied some 5 minute epoxy to the rim of the speaker. There is a raised lip on the frame of the speakers that’s perfect to attach a protective cove .It will also help keep the sunlight from deteriorating the speaker cones too.Update; August 2018. Both systems still going strong with firmware updates.

Sound great and fit good
I bought these for my square body suburban 1986 and they are a perfect fit to go under the dash pad.

Good value, potentially tricky installation
These hold up well. They sometimes sound a little crackly so I was afraid they blew immediately, but continued use has proved that’s not the case. If you are using these to replace the dash speakers in an older GM car, note that these are thicker than the original speakers and are difficult to install.
