PC-Rot Terminator is a professional-grade two-part epoxy wood hardener designed to penetrate and consolidate rotted or decayed wood. With a low viscosity formula, it fills deep wood voids and cures into a durable, waterproof elastomer stronger than natural wood fibers. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, it works across a wide temperature range and offers a generous 60-minute work time. Once cured, it can be primed, painted, or stained, making it the ultimate solution for long-lasting structural wood repair and protection.

Great Product
I was intrigued by the fact that this product claimed to provide structural repair in restoration projects. I used the PC-Woody in combination with the PC- Rot Terminator. I was repairing an 1850's walnut support beam with a longitudinal split. The "Terminator" penetrated and hardened the area needing repair. The epoxy "Woody" made a very stiff paste that could be worked into the gaps and gripped without sagging. I could not be more pleased with the results. After curing the beam was solid. Great products.

Works extremely well to solidify rotted wood when used properly
This is my third 1.5 gal PC-Rot Terminator kit. I have used this product, in conjunction with PC-Woody, to restore windows and the porch on my 150 year old house for the past 20 years, and repairs done 20 years ago to porch columns and windows are still in perfect condition and holding paint. Wood to be treated must be dry, clean and paint-free. Epoxy must be fully cured and sanded before paint will adhere properly. A coating of PC-Woody sufficient to produce a smooth sandable surface is usually essential unless wood is still smooth. Makes a great end grain sealer for long term rot resistance. Heat may be required for full cure in cool weather. Be sure to open your package as soon as you get it, Amazon shipped the factory box which was clearly labeled "Fragile Liquid handle with care" and "This Side Up" packed sideways in an outer unmarked box causing significant leakage of catalyst in the box, making a big sticky mess by the time I opened the box the day after arrival.

Outstanding product! Easy to follow instructions!
Watched the video's.........READ THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE STARTING! Be sure to have a 2 measuring cups, 4 plastic putty knives, rubber or plastic gloves, a hard plastic plate ( to mix the ingredients together....it will be the consistency of sugar cookie dough ) and get ready to complete your project in small increments. The weather temperature will dictate how fast your project will dry so .........pace yourself. It took 72 hours of 40° weather to CURE the beams I was reinforcing. They are like concrete! Would purchase this product again! Great product.......Excellent Vendor Thank You Amazon

Easy to use. Works.
This stuff is my dirty little secret. I use it to rejuvenate rotten studs and joists and beams, harden punky wood for furniture making, seal end grain, repair deep structural cracks... It's runny and doesn't set up quickly, so it soaks into all the places you wish it would - and many you didn't expect. Is it perfect? No. But it's a heck of a product for all sorts of applications in construction AND fine furniture. Tastes terrible though.

Spillage, but very good product
The product works really well. The only trouble I had was in pouring the products into the small mouthed mixing container. I think including a small funnel would be great customer service. This would've saved a lot of product from being spilled on the floor.

This stuff was awesome..
This stuff was awesome....Had a dock piling that rose about 18" about the dock. There had been old termite damage that started about 2 inches below the top of the piling and extended down about 12 inches. Water had found its way in and rotted down the center of the post. I had a void about 2 1/2 across down the center of the post with rotted wood. I cleaned out the damaged wood and filled with the PC rot terminator, it soaked into all the surrounding soft wood and hardened up creating an excellent alternative to replacing a dock piling! I used solo cups for pouring each liquid into the mixing bottle as the jugs are pretty large.

I didn't realize a product like this could make so much of a difference
I recently bought a house with past termite and flooding issues. One of the support beams in the basement was clearly termite damaged and additionally damaged from water. I chose this product because - according to the company website - it was safe for support wood. I filled up the little applicator bottle, took a brush and went to town with it. I was really nervous I'd have to get the beam replaced - the wood was very soft and I pulled out more than a few rotten pieces while applying - the beam trembled as I aggressively when into the rotten parts with the brush. I checked it yesterday and the difference is amazing. The beam doesn't move at all when touched or pressed, the wood feels firm and stable. I'll probably fill in with putty. I probably could have done this with one of the smaller containers (I went all out and got the gallon size) but I have a feeling I'll be using this a lot.

Good product
This is good stuff for dealing with wood rot. It's easy to apply one you get the hang of it. The little squirt bottle doesn't work very well on vertical surfaces, because the product runs. I just mix it it a steel can and apply with a small disposable brush. The product really penetrates, so once I get it on, I go back and hold a full brush on the surface to saturate it.
