The Bickersons (Old Time Radio) (Classic Radio Comedy)

I grew up with radio in the thirties and forties. The first TV set didn't arrive on our block until late 1948, so you see, we learned to use our imagination listening to the radio. The Bickersons are just as funny now as then, and Danny Thomas in the mix is a special surprise. I had forgotten he "lived in that phone booth" on the show. Langford and Ameche are flawless in their timing. I'll tell you something weird - I even enjoy listening to those live commercials. Ah, the memories - the good memories abound with this one.

The Bickersons is great I love this show and how you get the entire half hour episode. The only complaint that I have is the CD doesn't divide the episodes into chapters. You have to hear the whole episode at one time. Some times I don't have a whole half hour to play it at once and I can't pause it for hours. The collection is wonderful. The sound quality is great and I love hearing the old songs. Don Ameche, Frances Langford and Danny Thomas are so funny. If I didn't have to go to work I wouldn't have any complaints about this collection.

I didn't like Frances Langford's singing at the beginning of each episode. Good recording.

Got for my Mom for Mother's Day. She loves her old time radio shows. She loves it so much. She love listening to them at work. Perfect gift for here.

Some episodes not as fun as some I have heard, but it was okay.

The CD didn't have my favorite skits.

Enjoyed listening to these remastered cds on a long car ride. Will order more if available. Volume and sound quality were easy to hear & understand.
