I have a small space and no night tables. I wanted a bench on the left side of my bed that was small and wouldnt obstruct me from getting in / out of bed . I use it not only for storage but as a place to put my electronic devices at night. It can fit at least 2-22x22 pillows side by side. Possibly more but I did not attempt to stuff it to the max.It was easy to put together. Just screw on the legs then add 1 screw on either side of each leg and tighten them to secure the leg in place. It has 4 weird holes at the bottom. Not sure of the purpose but maybe it allows one to hoist it overhead??...IDK...It is perfect in every way without any of the defects that previous reviewers mentioned. The joints for the top are smooth. They open and close the top in a smooth manner. Nothing jarring. No worries about it snapping on my fingers. I'm not a small person and I've sat on it to put my shoes on. Its quite strong. I absolutely love and recommend it.

She got tired of having a chair near her side of the bed as it began to become a destination for odds and ends. This is a well made, attractive solution with a generous storage area for its size. Took only minutes to assemble and all the parts were there (Yeah!). Comes packed quite good and was easy to unpack. I recommend this without reservation.

I wish the manufacturer did not sew the material across the top in an "X"Pattern across the lid. Also, the material could be lined up so all the printed words face the same direction.I love mine but I would have made it without the stitching on the top.Very easy to put the legs on. Very deep and well made. I am starting a "Hope" chest for my Granddaughters.I used it in my living room in front of my sliding door.

This little ottoman is perfect and pretty! Hate to admit this- but I needed a sturdy ottoman (without paying expensive furniture prices) for my dog. He is older and a little overweight and can't seem to jump on the bed each time he tries. I bought expensive (ugly) dog stairs and he refused to use them. This works perfectly and is very pretty in my bedroom against the iron bed. The fabric is sturdy, sewn well and the pattern would work with many styles of decor. It 's big enough to store an extra blanket or two, without being over bearing in the room. The top is not soft if you want it for a sitting piece, but it is sturdy enough. Great price and works for us!

I was about to purchase one of those folding storage ottomans that are no more than a box when the Linon one caught my eye. I love the fact that it has legs and the print inspired by 18th and 19th century botanical illustrations made the ottoman stand out for me.It is about 31.5” long, 15.5” wide, and 11.5 tall. With the legs, the ottoman is 17” tall. For storage, it’s 7.5” deep. It ships in a sturdy cardboard box. The only assembly required is the legs, which was an easy thing to do. The instructions, the hardware and the hex key are included. The ottoman provides a place for us to sit and put on our shoes and it is also a good place to store some clothes and sheets. I wouldn’t put any heavy stuff in there or stand on the ottoman because it doesn’t have solid walls, but it’s a wooden frame with the fabric stretch over it. Having said that, my mother and I have seated on it side by side, so it can support 200 lb. or so. The lid is cushioned with what it feels like a thin layer of foam. It is comfortable enough for my purposes. One thing I was not too enthusiastic about is that the lid is not covered by one piece of fabric, but by 4 triangular pieces sewn together and the print design unfortunately does not match where the pieces come together. Also, the lid is darker than the rest of the ottoman. Other than those aesthetics details, I’m pretty happy with the ottoman. I think if it’s not treated roughly, it may last for a while. It looks classy and it provides me with much needed storage space.

This was specifically purchased to help store items for my brother's kids when they visit, to use as a foot stool or sitting bench, and decor for the apartment. My mother and I actually used fabric markers and added different blues to it to make it more personal and match. We love it! It was so easy to put together. It isn't that heavy to move. It offers a decent amount of store space for crafts, toys, projects, etc. You could even store shoes if you wanted to. It comes up to the same height as our new loveseat. It is sturdy and doesn't wobble even on carpet. It doesn't have a horrible chemical smell. I would recommend and purchase again.

I bought this so my girls would have a throne to sit on while they judged us from their loft above the living room. They spend most of the day on it. Definitely worth the purchase.

This is a versatile storage bench. Love the color and design, but the top is not a solid drape of material as depicted in the items pictures. Instead, the top piece of fabric is a 4 triangular piecemeal design. The legs come with 4 metal brackets with two screws each to be installed. This item took weeks to get to me and will be awkward to return. I will make it work but am very disappointed.
