I was looking to purchase a bright colorful tapestry to hang acrossed a doorway in my home. I stumbled acrossed this listing and thought it looked fun and may work well. I've never owned a tapestry before so maybe I should have done a little bit of research or something because the item I received was not at all what I was expecting. Here's why:1. The print is only on 1 side. Now that may very well normal but I wasn't anticipating it to just have loose threads hanging along the back everywhere and the image to just be the washed out version, looking terrible, on the back and the back not even being the same depth of black and color as the front.2. The odor coming off of it immediately upon opening the plastic wrapping. The dye scent was strong and made me very leery of placing it anywhere before washing it. Not only due to the strong dye odor but also due to the fact that if I could smell the dye that strongly, then most likely it would bleed onto anything and/or everything it touched.3. The material is very stiff, cheap and awful feeling and ugly in appearance. It looks like the cheap material they place on seat cushions or outdoor furniture you would purchase at a bargain basement discount store. There are threads hanging off everywhere and I don't even know or understand where the majority of them are from as the aren't even attached.4. The print itself did not line up perfectly and didn't perfectly match the image shown in the listing. They should place a disclaimer stating "You will receive discount fabric with our representation of the image shown as closely as we can possibly get it and in shades similar to the image shown above". I didn't expect a carbon copy, but I also didn't expect and have never been so dissatisfied with any of the other hundreds, possibly thousands of items I've ordered from Amazon over the years.5. The listing states to care for the item by "Dry Cleaning or cold water washing". Well, due to the strong odor, I immediately went and washed it in cold water on the delicate cycle and then was going to lay it flat to dry. Well, as you can see from the images I attached, ONE cycle in cold water on delicate in my washer and it really looks awful. It isn't even black anymore. More a dark gray color, although it did manage to stain my hand nicely when I pulled it from the wash. It now really, truly does resemble outdoor furniture fabric that has faded and been abused by years of rain storms, sun light, etc. I am truly embarrassed for my husband to even come home from work and see this frightful thing I wasted $18 on. I do not know if I can even return it now since I washed it, even though it does state that this is the way to care for it and any company should refund customers when their product cannot even withstand the simple care that they themselves instruct using. I know that if I cannot return it, I will be shoving it in the garbage and consider it a lesson learned on purchasing fabrics sight unseen in the future.

Unfortunately I was not impressed with this item. I was so excited to receive this and the picture shows wonderful and bright colors but when I received this, it was far from vibrant. It was dark, the print was what it was supposed to be but not the colors. I will not be using it.

I ordered 8 for my octagonal gazebo - I absolutely love them. I considered giving 4 Stars for a couple reasons, but I really don’t want any dark marks against them. 1) they took a very long time to get here, and they came in 4 separate shipments! Strange and inconvenient but certainly not the end of the world. 2) they are a little inconsistent in length and placement of the circle pattern, but not enough to upset me. Just worth noting if you are super picky about those kinds of details!

So I just wrote a very long review that erased when I took a picture so I’m gunna keep this one short. I’m happy with this purchase I got these curtains to cover my closet and they fit perfectly just keep in mind if your picky this is a basically a giant tapestry so if ur expecting thick curtains that’s not what your gunna get the dark curtains like the one I got are gunna help block out sunlight but the sun will still shine through. These are more for show but I’m not complaining I ordered the same print tapestry in a twin size before so I knew what to expect. The colors are bright not exactly the same as the picture but close enough that it’s not something to complain about anyone whose ordered tapestries before know that they usually aren’t the same colors as they seem so it’s usually a gamble but hey that’s what reviews are for. Hope this was helpful! (So much for keeping it short)

I was weary about buying these from the reviews but honestly I’m not sure why people are being so picky. These are perfectly fine in my book. The colors are fine and the texture is exactly like a tapestry. It’s literally a tapestry cut in half and sewn.I got them to hang up in my door ways. One for the kitchen and one for the hallway. They look great in my opinion. I got some rods and clips and it’s a great solution for me for room dividers.The only thing I would say if I’m being picky is the bottoms are uneven but it doesn’t bug me too much. I’m pretty lax on my decor.

Despite the curtain not being as vibrant as the picture depict them to be, the curtain is still beautiful. They could've been sewn a bit better but considering they will remain hanging they should be ok. I would take caution when washing because the stitches don't look like they'd hold up in a washing machine or dryer. I would recommend hand washing them & hanging them to dry. It's not nearly as thin as other reviews have stated. Granted, they're not blackout curtains or anything, but they serve the purpose well. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase.

Great price and the material was very firm. When in direct sunlight, they are kinda see through but hold back a lot of the light. It did have a smell but it came out when washed. I wanted the same colored curtiains as in the photo but mine were more blue. I don't feel like going through sending them back and all so I'll make do with these. That's the only reason why I gave a three star rating. They should say if it's gonna be a different color. But other than the color issue these are nice curtains.

I really like these curtains. Color is vivid , curtains look just as pictured. I saw in the reviews I read that some folks received one full curtain mine were two halves, and sewed with an overlap at the top for a curtain rod. I have no complaints, no problem. In fact I was surprised with how thick the fabric was, I thought for the price the curtains would be thin and flimsy. In fact that was one reason I ordered them for a sun and privacy screen on my porch. I have a planter on the shady side of the curtains and I think my flowers still get enough light but they sure give me more shade than I had anticipated. I received them a couple days before the estimated delivery date.

It's very pretty, but unfortunately I just paid attention to the main picture which shows the mandala print from a distance. Be sure, before you purchase this, to zoom in on the colours--it has way more orange and green than I realized. The pictures are there, the colours just don't match my walls and rugs, etc., like I thought they would.

I really love the way these curtains look, but they have an "industrial" odor about them. They smell like an old oil rag from a work shop. Maybe its from the dye. I soaked and washed them in vinegar solution, but it hasn't helped much.

This order only took 8 days to arrive from India! Colors are vibrant, just like in the photo, and the quality and sewing is superb. I am definitely bookmarking this Seller and will purchase from them again.

These look great! They are thin so it allows light to come into the room which is nice.
