I got this to supplement my iPhone alarm, since apple can’t seem to make an effective alarm clock app. It worked fine for a couple weeks, but one night the second hand stopped moving while I was asleep, which means the hour and minute hand also stopped, ultimately meaning I missed my alarm (again) and was late for work.I took the thing apart and found out there is ZERO lubrication for the plastic-on-plastic gears, and they were getting stuck to the plastic chassis. I would have fixed it, but when I took it apart, the alarm gear fell out and I can’t find it, so now the whole this is useless and unfixable.

This is a replacement for a beautiful leather covered Seth Thomas Travel Clock that was a graduation gift in 1965. The replacement clock reflects the price. It is battery operated & the battery cover would not snap back on once the battery was inserted. It is adequate in that it keeps time & the alarm works. For some reason, I expected it to be a wind up mechanism, but had a battery on hand. Don't drop it on a hard surface or the case will crack as it is really cheap plastic.

The Clock is small and easy to read but unable to read in the dark room. The alarm is loud ,and. It has a very faint ticking sound.The only thing is it doesn't have a button to press to read the time at night.

Clock keeps good time. Alarm is NOT loud enough.

Better than a digital clock and it folds up into a nice little case.

Disappointed. I had one of these when I was young. It was made of metal and was made very well. This one is a cheap plastic fake. The case doesn’t line up right when closed, looks like it got hot and warped. It works fine but is very cheap.
