GreenLighting 2 Pack Contemporary High Lumen Plastic Solar Post Cap Lights for 4x4 Wood Posts (Black)

The lights are absolutely stunning... when they work. They do not look cheaply made and have an extremely bright glow... but they’re junk. After having them for not even a month, four lights have stopped lighting up. The company has sent me a replacement each time, but the last time I reached out to them they said “this is the last replacement we can issue you” as if I was lying or trying to get one over on them for extra lights. It’s not my fault you’re product is poorly made that I have to go out of my way to email you for replacements....So what happens when I fifth light goes out? Or a sixth? I guess I am up the creek without a paddle on that one! I would have just returned them, but let’s be honest... lugging all 12 of them to the UPS store to return them would be more trouble then it’s worth. I’m just very dissapointed.

I’m on the fence regarding these lights (no pun intended). They are attractive, however, after not even a year all 8 of these lamps have stopped working. I replaced the rechargeable batteries but then it seemed like the lamps didn’t know it was daylight and once I put the battery in the lamp turned on and stayed on. My assumption is that the solar part and the rechargeable battery were not working together anymore - ergo the lamp stayed on 24/7 until the battery died. Bottom line: there seems to be an issue with the design of these lamps and unless the Company can update/redesign so you’re not purchasing lamps before a year has gone by I’d not waste my money. I wish I’d listened to the previous reviews for this product, but in a few cases I’ve read glowing reviews for other products and have been disappointed with the product so decided to take a chance - SMH!

Only 2 hours and out since the day they came out of the box. 1 never has worked. UPDATE: GreenLighting Solar emailed me asking more specific info and to delete my negative feedback. I confirmed I would upon satisfactory resolution. I appreciate the contact, however. I purchase twelve solar lights for over $200. They were advertised as "bright", i.e. High Lumen: ""Green Lighting 12 Pack Classica High Lumen Plastic Solar Post Cap Lights for 4x4 Wood Posts (Black)"", Also to stay let UP TO 8 hours. I realize it said "UP TO" 8 hours, but come on man- two hours of a very dimly lit light...I would say about as bright as if I lit a single candle and placed it on the post. The seemed to think their generous offer of a 20% discount was resolution, i botched at it so they offered me 25%. They should have apologized for sending me such a crappy product for over $200 and sent me a quality replacement product with return shipping for what they first sent so they could ascertain why the initial product was NOTHING AS ADVERTISED. I only do repeat business with companies that stand behind their products, save the headache and steer elsewhere. Nike lost me 10 years ago, Green lighting Solar, recently.

Purchased 24 of these lights for a new deck project. Very attractive, but do not expect more than 2-2.5 hours of light. I have located in bright sun from sunup to sundown, much longer than the recommendation of 6-8 hours if sunlight and still only holds a battery charge of this short duration. Pretty dissatisfied because of it.

Do not buy! For 20 lumens these do not compare well with my other solar lights of 5 lumens. They are both in the same area so I could fairly compare them. They are inconsistent with lighting - some nights they light up and some they don’t. And again, my other solar lights are bright and consistent every night! I would have returned them but by the time I was able to test under all various conditions and the difficulty getting them all packed up again, it is too late. 😔

After years of having the worst yard on the block we finally did something about it!!! We completed our yard makeover however it seemed like something was missing, until I found the GreenLighting Solar Post Caps. They were exactly what was needed to pull it all together. During the day they look great sitting on the posts, but at night that is when they work their magic. I love sitting on my porch in the evenings with the lights soft glow, a lot of our neighbors stop by and ask about them.

These lights arrived very late. Only half worked and definitely not up to full strength. We replaced ALL the batteries and two of the 8 still don't work. Tried to replace just the two nonworking but Amazon can not do that and can not give me a working # for this seller. Now I have to uninstall them from my deck, pack them, ship them back AND pay a restocking fee. Super frustrating.

These lanterns, however attractive, do not work, to put it simply. I would be better off lighting tea lights everynight and putting them in the fixtures. I was even willing to replace ALL the batteries to see if the batteries provided were bad. STILL DIDNT'T WORK! Any good reviews of these must be false testimony. I bought 24! And 24 are all off within 2.5 hours of night. Amazon PLEASE do not sell these anymore!
