Works Great ,with different strategy
To the point. Placing it veritical as the picture shows with the lock being inserted in the 3rd or 4th hole DOES NOT WORK! You can very easy move up the down with ease and someone can drive off in your car. BUT! I placed almost horizontally (shown in my pic) and inserted the Pin in the 2nd hole from the Top having a tight fit. And it is SECURE!! I tried moving around up and down and it does move but very little and not enough for someone to drive away. The price is worth the buy and for you to try for yourself. Now the Details. My vehical is a 97 silverado and placing it horizontally made it an absolutely snug fit.It is a very thick and heavy metal piece. The locking pin is not as solid of metal. But once it has been locked no doubt it is very very solid and a very good theft-deterrent system.TIPs:I highly recommend playing with the lock numerous time before putting on. I figured out why some people were having issues with the lock. There seems to be 2 cylinders (may be wrong description word) that make the locking mechanism lock and unlock. You have to insert the key all the way in to unlock and lock PROPERLY. if you stick the key half way or a quarter in the way you'll still be able to rotate the locking mechanism as normal but it's only rotating the first part of the cylinder making you believe it's a proper turn, but it's not! The lock will jam and you cant open the lock! The FiX:If you do happen to accendentally do this just simply place the key in again half way or a quarter of the way in as you did before and turn it back to unlock position and the cylinders should aligned back togther.Again- i figured this out by playing around with it till I was comfortable with its functionality. Encourage you all to do the same.Worth the buy for the price.

Locked my clutch pedal
My Jeep Wrangler has to have the clutch engaged to start the engine. This locks the pedal so it cannot be engaged. Pefect! Easy to put on and take off and I think it would be hard to remove without a key.

Frustrating Experience with Car Lock After First Use
After recovering my 2014 Lexus IS250 after it was stolen, I purchased this lock along with a steering wheel lock to add some quick security to my car while I wait for my appointment to install the IGLA/Compustar T13 and Drone Dashcam security system. Upon receiving it, I immediately attempted to install it. To familiarize myself with it, I took it off and on 2-3 times with ease before leaving it on. After leaving it on overnight, I found myself unable to remove it the next morning. After struggling with it for a few minutes, I ended up taking my rental car to work, which thankfully I still had. Upon returning home from work, I still couldn't remove the lock after struggling with it for several more minutes. Thankfully, my brother was home and was able to help me. After struggling with the lock for 20 minutes, he managed to remove it by tugging the end of the jammed pin it left and right with pliers. I placed it in my trunk, along with the box, and requested a return for the product. While the lock functioned, the potential of it jamming and the difficulty in removing it wasn't worth it. Thankfully, I was eventually able to remove mine with help from my brother. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this product, and it gets zero stars from me.

Works great if you know how to position it
I've been using this product for about a year now as there are some unsavory characters and constant vehicle prowl in the area. Some things I've noticed about the lock:1. The catch on the locking pin can get caught up on the second hole when trying to remove the lock. Pushing the pin back in and pulling out quickly normally frees it up.2. The key must remain in the unlocked position in order to install/remove the lock.3. The key will turn when it's not engaged with all the pins. If it's not going in all the way, rotate the key a half turn while pushing in and it'll drop into the rest of the keyway.4. Position the lock such that it cannot be slid up the pedal or swiveled up and out of the way. I like to position mine as tight against the floor as possible and slightly angled down. Preferably lock a pedal that has a safety switch that prevents the vehicle from starting unless the pedal is pressed.Unfortunately I had a recent experience where the lock prevented the theft of my vehicle. The would-be thief damaged the door lock and ignition cylinder before realizing the clutch pedal was locked in place. It likely prevented the theft of the vehicle. This lock is not very visible to thieves and will likely pair it with a steering wheel lock/"club" in the future as a more visible deterrent.

Good Product Needs to be Made For Wider Variety of Vehicle Brake Arms
This is a good product but if you have a thicker steel brake arm this will not work. The manufacturer should make this lock for all variety steel brake arms. Some car maufacturers make the steel brake pedal arm where it's vertical to the floor and the steel is thin to hold this lock. Others make the steel brake arm where it's horizontal to the floor and the stee brake arm is wider. If this lock was made just a litte wider it would accommodate most car manufactures steel brake arms.

Needs improvement
It's very strong and durable but it's hard to unlock. I had it on my brake pedal in a 94 Chevy short bed and it was very sloppy and very loose. The feet would slide around and rendered it usless, being that you could still press the brake pedal and put it in gear.
