Themes of Contemporary Art: Visual Art after 1980

Good book that is very easy to read and understand. Arranged by themes with lots of background information on the subjects. The science themed chapter is great for those not scientifically inclined and not up to date on all the advances that have generated new works of art over the last twenty years.

An excellent manual for those who really want to understand what is Contemporary Art about. Gives a representative list of contemporary artists focusing in theoritical analysis of their work. Very usefull for those who frequently visit museums and exhibitions.

Hated the book but I needed it for a class. It is what it says it is.

My son loves the book! It will serve as useful text for his high school classes !

This book is worth keeping instead of selling back. Great content. The layout is easy to process. The examples of artwork are great.

die autoren haben es geschafft, einen überblick über die komplexen themen gegenwärtiger kunst zu liefern, der aufgrund der äußerst fundierten, klar verständlichen darstellung mir zur vorbereitung auf eine vorlesung äußerst hilfreich war. wer nach einem buch sucht, das gegenwärtige fragen zur kunst behandelt, wird hier fündig werden.
