Is the grind of this corn meal fine, medium or coarse?

Hi, Giselle,Indian Head corn meal is very fine, almost like all-purpose flour. You don't need to add flour to it to make fine textured corn bread or muffins. Just follow the recipes from the manufacturer for excellent results. I've used this brand exclusively for many years because it's just very good. My husband is particularly fond of spoon bread made with this corn meal. Since we like some sweetness to our corn bread and spoon bread, I add 1/4 C of sugar to those recipes with excellent results. I always add a little sugar when baking. I prefer Indian Head White Corn Meal. The recipe on package always gets me compliments .

Great mealie meal

If you are African and looking for mealie meal for your Ugari/Sadza/Pap- this is your go to brand. Its not refined, making it taste great, organic and great value for money. I will buy more of this.

Horrible taste

This stuff is sickening. I made cornbread, tasted it and spit it out. Threw it out. Weird taste, wasn't sure what I was eating. Been making cornbread for 50 years. This is horrible. Wasted my money.
