This is a real review....My husband wrote this so it is from him.This case is outstanding. I've had Lifeproof cases, Griffen cases, and Otterbox Cases. I've also tried the new Pelican case (I kayak and have my phone on a RAM mount on my adventure motorcycle, so my cases get used and abused). I ended up trying this one out. I liked the look and it is waterproof, so that was all a plus...then this happened (true story). I was riding my motorcycle down a mountain road going just above 50mph when my RAM X Mount decided to let my phone go. It went flying off my motorcycle over my right shoulder. It hit the concrete (at 50mph) and bounced end over end off into the weeds and blackberry bushes. It took me about 20 minutes to find it. When I did, I expected it to be shattered. Not only was the phone ok, but the case wasn't even badly damaged. Two corners of the case were scuffed up quite a bit, as were some of the sides, but no screen scratches, and my iPhone 6 plus was unharmed! I'm still amazed at this. I would've expected any case to fail under the circumstances. With that said, I'm not too happy that my RAM mount let the phone go, but this case is worth every penny. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. I paid full price for it and will end up buying another one. I doubt the company will warranty it after what I put it through :) I waited 2 weeks from the motorcycle incident to write this review just in case my iPhone started malfunctioning. LifeProof was saying November 2014 release for their case and here we are in February 2015. I have seen a few cases that say were waterproof on many other sites and in a few stores. None of them had the quality I was looking for in a case. I work in a kitchen so there are many ways my phone could get wet while staying in my pocket.This case fits great and is thin and compact while feeling like the phone is protected. Every function works, even the touch sensor that was not working correctly in my water "resistant" case. I really see NO issue with this case. Even the screen protector is so snug you don't really know its even there. The home button, not so great. It stretched out so theres a bubble over it so my touch id doesn't work even though I added the same finger 3 times. It really protects from drops and protects the screen. It is not waterproof but definitely splashproof and if I were to drop it in water and IMMEDIATELY remove it, it would be safe. But I get dust and dog hair inside it all the time, so Im pretty sure water could get in. Plus I tested it in the bathtub and after half an hour the paper towel inside was slightly moist. It is really easy to get the case on and off when I have to clean the inside, so I am pleased by that, but thats probably the problem.
