Slim and Sharp!
This is the most expensive small folder that I own, but it's worth every penny. appearance and build quality are outstanding. Reflections off the blade surfaces add visual interest. You may have to work at it a bit but you can open it one-handed thanks to the large opening in the blade. It is amazingly sharp out of the box (passes the paper test) and weighs in at right around 2 ounces. Excellent value for the money and U.S. made, except for the pocket clip, which I have chosen to remove.

Quality Pocket Knife
PROS: + Made in USA + Nice size for the every day minor needs + Blade is very sharp upon delivery + Feels solid in the hand + Clip is nice that it allows a raised contact area to pull out of pocket + Warranty seems like they back their products with confidence CONS: - Machining of the handle edges could be a little smoother. The edges that house the blade and divots along the handle are rough. Perhaps this is for better grip? I think they could be smoother and still provide positive grip - I ordered the grey but the color is more silver/light grey. Pictures on line show more contrast between handle and blade. I thought it was a darker grey which I was hoping for CONCLUSION: I’ll keep the knife and update later if I have any issues. I’m not an expert to which blade steels are better or worse but I feel confident this can handle things for my simple chores. I hope to have this little beauty for many years. Was my review helpful? Thank you.

Great Knife
Good size, sharp, durable. The pocket clip is reversable. I used a small eye glass tool for the screw. I got an orange knife because my black ones seem to disappear frequently.

Budget friendly and very light. Buck Mini Spitfire close but not perfect for me.
If you are looking for a light EDC knife that is not bulky in your pockets, this knife may be for you. It is a beautiful knife and appears to be very well made, however, I do have a few minimal criticisms of the knife that probably have to do more with my taste than the quality of the knife, itself. For starters, the weight of the knife makes it feel cheaply made, as if from plastic. It's not made of plastic (it is a lightweight aluminum), but it may feel that way because it is only 2.1 ounces. And while my preferred weight is somewhere around 2.5-2.75 ounces, this is the lightest knife I've ever owned, and it will take some getting used to. As far as the length, I'm very satisfied with the blade length of 2.75 inches and the folded length of 3.75 inches. The opened length comes in at just over 6.25 inches, and I find that to be nearly perfect. One of the things I appreciate the most about this knife is the drop point blade and the overall aesthetics. Quite simply, the grey anodized aluminum paired with the stainless 420HC stainless steel blade is a thing of beauty. And thus far, it has proved to be durable and very sharp. In closing, the minor criticisms that I have are primarily the weight of the knife, which I know is much more personal than a knock against the quality of the knife, but I'd also add that the deployment of the blade is very stiff as well. While it is marketed as "Convenient One Hand Opening", I'd dispute that and say that in most cases you'll probably want to use two hands. The thumb hole on the blade may be a bit edgy due to the firmness/stiffness of the blade deployment. For me, this is really no big deal, but I can see where it may be for others that prefer a truly one-handed opening knife. Lastly, I also really appreciate the fact that it has a reversible pocket clip and that it is a lock back. Update: After having this knife for quite a while, I would definitely have to upgrade my rating to 5 stars! I love everything about it. It has maintained an edge, and after I smoothed the edges of the deployment hole, it is a dream.

Nice knife for a pretty good price
I have seen some reviews with fit and finish issues, not to discount those, but the one I got is built very well. No sharp edges (except for the blade of course), no blade play or lock rock, and a very useable pocket clip. The orange is a nicer color in person that the pics lead you to believe. The action isn’t as smooth as some of my knives but it’s perfectly openable with one hand and not gritty at all and it will probably smooth up some with time. It lock up with authority too. Blade came very sharp and my errantly placed finger can attest to this. Bottom line is I like it

Quality Buck Product Made in the USA for a reasonable price.
Quality Buck Product Made in the USA for a reasonable price. This knife is just the right size and weight for every day carry, very slim. The pocket clip is sturdy & perfectly positioned. Easily opens with one hand and locks securely when opened. The blade itself is very sharp and Bucks USA blades typically hold a nice edge and are resharpened pretty easily (i use a basic "V" type sharpener). The Blade is wider than a normal knife this size and the thumb hole is not a typical shape, but both of these design features make this knife look & feel a little more "unique" while also giving the blade a more substantial feeling than a pocket knife this size would normally have. I like it & would recommend it.
