Considering most stereos that do the same things as this one are $200-$300 I thought this was pretty good. I put it in myself and haven't had any trouble. Buying boss is a gamble from the reviews I've read, but I haven't ever had any trouble with them so far. My car has a boss sub in the back and boss head unit, with pioneer speakers, soon to be kenwood. I plan on buying another boss sub along with3,000 watt boss amp to finish my system.(P.S. The stereo tells you you can't play any of the video options unless your parking brake is engaged, to get around that i wired the "parking brake negative" wire on the stereo, and the "ground" wire together, not the ground that goes with your power supply connections, the one that comes out with that big bundle of wires and RCA connectors.)

First off UPS just threw this in my yard (Gate was locked). Second, it states that it is motorized, it is not, it has a fixed screen and does not retract. The Blue tooth works ok, but most people can't hear me speak, mic to far from driver. After a couple of days the screen started to not come on, it works when it wants too, you either have to re-start the car and hope it works, or take the screen off and re-install. The BT will work on the phone, but not the GPS at the same time, you have to switch to a different mode, so if you want to hear the GPS you cant listen to any music.

I Love it it is great but just a few issues with it. 1 it sticks out a little more than what I would like so when I go to shift(manual Transmission) I have to be very careful because I can bump it. 2 Through the Bluetooth playing songs it doesnt display what song is playing. So far I hooked this stereo up in my car myself and havent had much issues (just with my car) with the stereo itself. You will also most likely will want to buy a new set of speakers as well someone else had some aftermarket speakers put in my car and I had to set this to "Loud" to low otherwise the speakers couldnt handle how much power the stereo sent to the speakers.

POS!!! This is the 3rd radio replacement I have gotten and it locks up and the screen doesn't work. The sound stops working. You turn the car off and back on and it switches from cd to radio and you cant get back to the cd part. And now because I pasted the 30 day return policy I cant get a refund on this POS. I hate the radio, should have listen to the other reviews and not purchased a BOSS radio. Warning. Stay away from this radio.

I bought this radio twice, but also had to return twice. I really like this model though because it's RDS tuner, large colorful screen and dial for the volume (i have a motorized version which lacks the quick acting dial volume).Unfortunately it just never seems to work out. I have another model which has lasted me going on 2 or 3 years now. This models screen has previously gone out within a month. And actually wasn't the screen, as swapping another screen didn't help get it to turn on to retrieve my DVD that's been sitting in there for last 3 years.But the main thing is its overall shape and size. It repeatedly didn't look good on my standard double din Nissan/Infiniti dashboard. I got a different model that is a smaller 6.2 double din screen and it looks very natural. This model is too bulky due to it jutting out and down. The trim ring helps, but I've realized those don't always do these radios justice either.Overall decent radio, no problems with 2 other boss models. but personally feel this model needs a makeover. A double din model just like it, but less bulk would be perfect.

I was real hesitant on ordering this radio from all the research I did on boss products but this one was the only one that had more positive things to say about it..... I ordered this radio it came real fast from hpp ... I hooked it up in a hour everything works ...USB works... DVD works ... Great sound.... Bluetooth works ...good quality screen shows well ... All around decent radio for the price it's all I needed ... I would recommend it to a friend

I dont know why so few stars from customers of this stereo, maybe have donne a bad instalation or something else, but i got this radio for 2 years and still rocking, screen pure quallity, touch screen very responsive, sound very gooood with apropiate speakers obviously, non cheap materials, clear music via bluethoot, don't be affraid of getting this boos audio device.
