Why is my scrubber turning white when I use it?

Hi Kee! The Foot Scrubber is made of 100% terra-cotta. Haven't heard of this issue before, but if you have hard water in your area, over time hard water deposits may build up. (You see this sometimes on terra-cotta pots.) But it's super easy to fix: just soak your Foot Scrubber overnight in a cup with 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup vinegar. Then just rinse it off in the morning. Vinegar will break down the hard water without harming the terra-cotta. Hope this is helpful! Sincerely, Gilden Tree

Pricey but works great and will last!

Used it for the first time tonight and wow! Amazing product! I had the cheese grater looking one and made my feet worse over time. Didn't know how damaging it was. Then I was using the Mr Pumibar 2 sided dark purple and lavender bar and I love it BUT it kept disintegrating and didn't like the polluting side of it. This reusable terracotta foot scrub is environmentally friendly and works great. On the pricier side but in the long run worth it. Leaves feet smooth and soft. Recommend 10/10

Different from many, natural material, works, worth it

Terracotta quality great, comfortable to hold. Not to small or big. Scrapes real good. People say it's hard to clean? Just rinse as you go i had not problem cleaning it, just don't let it dry with dead skin (gross).. over all worth it, makes my heels smooth

best scrubber ive ever tried, far more effective then pumice stones and those coated plastic wands that both wear out after just a few uses. this is also much easier to hold comfortably and apply pressure without hands cramping (dont use the handle hold the entire thing).

Barely used, already has a chip

This seems great in theory, but I'm not sure about it. I have used this less than 10 times and have been sure to be very careful with it considering that it's fragile. There is already a chip in one of the grooves on the smoother side. This is a bit disappointing.

Useful Tool and Works Very Well

Both sides of this work so well we were surprised - rough skin on the bottom of our feet was scrubbed down and then finally polished with the smoother side. Actually, a caution about how much you scrub - it's possible to rub the feet raw. Such a useful tool!
