Levy's Leathers 2 1/2"Strap with Garment Leather Top,Black

Real leather not cheap leather. Very very comfortable to wear. Highly adjustable. Good craftsmanship. Should last the rest of my life. Best name in guitar straps.

In 1999 I purchased a leather strap for my guitar. Only one I've ever needed since I only had one guitar, but I recently purchased a new guitar and wanted a different color strap to match it. I would duplicate that 1st strap purchase in a heart beat if I could, but years of use had worn away whatever branding might have been on it, or so I thought. Fast forward 13 years, and TONS of use on that strap. I've been researching just the right one for the new LP I bought..color, width, length, material...you are probably doing the same; looking at all diff brands & sources etc. I landed on this Levy's Leathers black strap and decided it was going to be the one, but after purchasing I realized I got my straps mixed up and ordered a size I didn't intend (a downfall to my obsessive researching and looking at soooooo many). So, I extended my current strap to it's max to measure and in doing so I uncovered/discovered the brand and model. Turns out I've managed to purchase the exact same brand and model strap I did 13 years ago. While this is amusing to some extent it has ensured me that I made the correct decision. If you are looking for a reliable strap, look no further than the M26GF. I'm gonna be the guy with the lowest acoustic guitar now.... It's comfortable too with just the right padding, and easy to adjust. Very happy with it. I can't wait for it to get a bit more worn in.

I have dozens of guitar straps that are made of Leather (Fender, Gibson and D'Addario), Woven Cloth (i.e. Planet Waves) and Padded Cell (Kliq). I am concerned that the KLIQ (which is really nice but in a different way) might melt the nitrocellulose on my Gibson Guitars so I had to find something else (I don't know either way). This is 2-1/2" wide, (which is perfect for me,) it is padded, it is soft and the suede does prevent slipping of the guitar. The price is kind of high, but it is nothing in comparison to the cost of a Gibson Custom Shop Guitar.

I’ve used another brand of leather guitar strap for most of my life. They have gotten a bit expensive over time and I wanted to try out something a bit different. After reading countless reviews and looking at different products, I figured this was worth the try.First, this thing is wonderful. The leather feels soft yet durable, thick but not overbearing, and attention to the quality of stitching and material selection.So if you’ve looked all over for the right leather strap, stop looking and get this one. I know this thing will last a lifetime so I can’t wait to buy a new guitar just to get another one of these.

Super nice strap, but at its longest setting is a little short for me. Would be perfect for an acoustic player or someone who prefers their instrument a little higher up. Leather is excellent quality and it's pretty substantial, just to keep in mind if you're using strap buttons to secure your strap to the instrument.

I wanted a wide leather strap to support my very heavy Les Paul. This one does the trick. The suede lining prevents neck dive. This may be a plus or minus for some, but I like it. It may be too short if you wear it low. High quality, sturdy leather.
