Dinty Moore Beef Stew, 15 Ounce Can

You know those nights, when you've been running all day, picked the kids up from practice, you're all hungry and you've still got an HOA meeting to go to later? Have a hearty meal the simple way. Open, heat, serve! It's called convenience food for a reason, it's simple, but tasty!

We always keep this stew in the pantry...its a quick hearty meal...we usually buy the larger can, but I can never eat that much so I bought these 15 oz cans and its the perfect serving for me..no waste. My husband eats the larger can... This is comfort food thats fast and easy!!

The potato pieces are too large, so I remove them and slice them up. The flavor is improved with a little dry (not sweet!) red wine or beer. I like to add Benoit's Spicy Salt-Free Cajun Seasoning, grated extra sharp cheddar (or your favorite) cheese, chopped sautéed onions or powder, chopped sautéed garlic or powder, fresh-ground black pepper and/or Louisiana Hot Sauce or Sriracha --all to taste. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired. These additions will remove the canned taste. Experiment! Like almost all canned products, it contains an excess of sodium, so it's best not to eat too often.

I'm a senior citizen and live alone.I used to cook for my family but now that is only on an occasional basis. I hate to spend time cooking for just myself and eating out can get to be too expensive.. Plus we get snowed in or power outages so I do prep some.I have tried lots and lots of canned meals and there are only a few i either tolerate or like. Dinty Moore in the can is one of them. I actually like it. I always have one in the cupboard, right next to the canned veggies and Pork and Beans . As for shipping and handling, I do get a shipment with a dented can or two of any such item. So far they haven't been an issue. The price is comparable to the stores and it saves me carrying home heavy bags of canned goods...it's Senior thing.

When i saw thwe sale for this Dinty Moore Beef Stew i jumped on the chance to purchase it! I love how dinty Moore Beef stew makes for a great meal on a cool crisp evening. Amazon Prime/pantry made it even easier to purchase. The order arived sooner than we have thought, and we were so pleased with the amazon delivery person, super kind and courteous!

Definitely does not come close to homemade beef stew but it is not totally gross. Perhaps also not the healthiest choice but a nice “heat and eat” meal alternative. Nice to have on hand if not in the mood to cook.

Picked up a bunch of these for food storage purposes at the beginning of the COVID-19 thing. Good product, good tasting stew.

Was delighted to find this in Prime Pantry. I have been purchasing an off brand at a local store and it just is not the same.This product has just the right amount of each ingredients and is very similar to how I would make beef stew.Most highly recommended.
