Scene It? Box Office Smash Bundle - Xbox 360

So I bought the bundle with the four controllers and when it arrived I immediately ripped it open and threw it in the 360 like a Frisbee (cause I'm that good). Grabbed a couple friends and started playing. We all had a good time playing the MANY different puzzles. There were a lot of different movies in here which keeps the excitement going. So basically what you get is the game, 4 controllers, and a tiny RF box for the controllers.That RF box is one of only 2 things I don't like about this. Seriously...RF? Well, I think it's RF. Basically you HAVE to make sure the controllers can see the little box so you can answer. And you HAVE to make it point at it. I had it pointed in the air once and it would not answer the question. That is really annoying. And then the only other gripe I have is the bonus points between rounds. Sometimes they just give to many points away...for NOT BEING GOOD. My friend beat me twice because of this. Even he said that was a little stupid for the loser to get a lot of points like that. Sure it's nice to give them some to keep the game close and fun, but don't give so many that it almost becomes ridiculously easy for the loser to win. Well, that's really the only two things and it wasn't enough to make me drop the score.Also Xbox Live is pretty active for the game and I've never really had a problem with finding people to play with.As of this post there has been one new Downloaded Content release for the game with a bunch of new movies. Pretty cool.I would definitely buy this game if you're a lover of movies. It's a lot of fun.P.S. Wanna beat me? Find me on there sometime. The name is kegrun79.

Fun game, especially since the other scene-it games I have are the older DVD based games. This system allows more individualistic play between the players as oposed to simply shouting out stuff/sharing a controller.Unsure why they didnt choose to use the same type-technology on the controllers that the Xbox controller use. These are direct line of sight controllers and I have missed a few due to my forgetting this in the moment. Given that they are responsive and I saw no other distraction.I hope the game has more questions than what I have allready seen though. In the 1st 4 games (Ive only had this a week at this point) My wife and I received the same questions over and over. Not a similar question or different questions on the same movie/topic. But the exact same!And finally, What is with the scoring. I have been beaten by my wife due to charity and not answering the questions. We are not competative at all... well i should say She isnt... I am. I'd have a healty lead on her only to watch her come from behind during the score results for items like: 2000 pts for slowest reaction, 1500 points for the most incorrect answers. Lets quit rewarding mediocre/poor work and let me get on with my crushing her!!!Overall it is still fun.

One of the best purchases that I've made. This game is so much fun.The box includes the game and four controllers. It also has a sensor that you have to plug into a USB port on the xbox which is what picks up the four controllers' signal. This isn't a good or bad thing but I had expected them to connect straight to the console.As far as the game play goes, I enjoyed it a lot. I was a fan of the SceneIt box game which is what made me purchase this item. It is quite a bit different than the box game though. Every player is engaged while playing this game. Its almost like All Play on loop. There are certain "games" that require you to "buzz in" with the big button on the top. First to buzz in gets to answer. Other "games" have everyone guess their answer at the same time. Overall it is a blast and has a ton of content. I've played for many many hours with a minimal amount of repeats.Lastly, this game has a great rage of movies. Some are very recent, and others are classics. I bring this up because the box games have different themes and the kids were always better at the disney games and the adults were better at the classic game. This game's variety gives everyone a fair chance at winning.

I bought this game thinking I would invite all my friends over for a little trivia challenge. I figured they would all come over, and I would proceed to slaughter them in this game, since I am the Alpha and Omega of trivia challenges. They would carry me off into the sunset on their shoulders as their god. But alas, I realized that I have no friends and thus nobody to play with. Undeterred, I decided to play anyway. I took off my socks and shoes and played all 4 players (left hand, right hand, left foot, right foot). I dominated!! It turns out, my left foot is my most brilliant extremity. Suck on that, Daniel Day-Lewis! Anyways, if you are lucky enough to have friends come over to visit you, I recommend that you buy this game. Also, I recommend that you keep the original box, and when your friends come over, tell them that you just bought it and haven't even opened it yet. That way, when you destroy them, they won't accuse you of reading all the questions before they got there.

Everyone in my family enjoys this game. Unfortunatly their are a bunch of movies that we know nothing about.I highly recommend this for a family game nights and it is nice change of pace when either my brother or myself have friends over.There are a varity of catagories which is a nice change. Also trash talking throughout is a blast! we are all pretty competitive, and I ussually win.I wish these controllers would work with my laptop. I know they work with other xbox games like you don't know jack, can't wait to pick that up later this year.The controllers are a nice quality for what they are. Make sure you plug the IR reciver into the Xbox. That is right it uses an IR reciever, I don't know why but you have to make sure that the controllers have a line of sight to the reciever or else they will not register correctly.If they fixed the IR reciever to be more receptive and kept the pace high I would give it 5 for fun, but for now I guess it will stay at 4. Can't beat it for under 15 bucks!!!
