Monitor Audio MASS Surround Sound Speaker System, Mist White (220-230V)

I bought this over Christmas. I'd been using an aging Marantz NR1403 for 2.1 in the small lounge. Saw these at a great price if£379 at the time and decided it was time to explore 5.1 again. The results, once I gave the speakers about 50 hrs to run in, were jaw dropping. I use these MASS speakers with my old Marantz, now in a 5.1 set up. Using them mostly for playing my old Genesis/Floyd/Yes/Tull DVDs/SACDs. I am a happy(the)man! Full marks to Monitor Audio for this kit, which is tasteful, understated and sounds fantasic. Also to Amazon, who promptly rectified a non appearing delivery.Five stars you say?Och, go on then.👍😁

This sounds so much better than what I had before. Some old online manuals suggest it comes with the subwoofer trigger cable but mine didn't - it's worth the extra £1

Really pleased with this small system. The speakers feel quality. Nicely weighted, clean visually. Having bought the wall mounts the went up and were wired in within an hour! Once I fired up the surround sound unit they came to life. I've not messed with the settings yet, but the speakers and sub merge really well. Understated but noticable.Would recommend this to anyone who wants a simple surround.

I spent a very long time debating what system to go for, and I was stuck selecting a slim Av amp due to a cinema wall in the house we bought with very small gaps for old systems!Don't hesitate on this, I bough the Onkyo slim receiver, and this surround package is incredible, in a pretty big room I can only have about 25% volume, deep, controlled, crisp bass. Nice midrange for voice and controlled treble. The units are bigger than they look which is why they sound good.No hesitations in recommending 100%

I bought these as a package with an AV receiver from another store but wanted to leave a review here too. I'd been looking for a good quality surround sound system that doesn't fill the room with angular black boxes. I spent ages considering the possibilities, having dismissed soundbars, and finally plumped for these. I'm delighted I did. Despite their small size they really deliver a great sound. Remember to get wire cutters before setting up, and D Line trunking has been great for concealing the cables. All in all recommended!
