Pop idol Britney Spears stars in this sweet coming-of-age movie about three childhood friends who've grown apart, but find out they may still have a lot in common. After graduating from high school, Lucy (Spears), Kit (Zoe Saldana), and Mimi (Taryn Manning) decide to take a road trip to L.A. to audition for a record label. Along the way, there's a lot of heartbreak and female bonding (not to mention a lot of midriff-baring--in her first scene, Spears jumps on her bed in her underwear, singing along to a Madonna song), as each of the three girls learns more about herself and life. Crossroads could have been trite schmaltz, but the script has some grit and the direction is fresh and relaxed--and, most significantly, Spears is far more sympathetic and engaging than you might expect. Nostalgic
I remember watching this movie when I was a lot younger. Watching this movie now as an adult brought back so many memories from my childhood. This is a good movie and it didn't cost much to watch it, definitely cheaper than purchasing the DVD.

Highly underrated movie.
I am sad I listened to critics and the reviews of this movie when it came out. Glad it was on Netflix after watching it the first time I knew I needed to own it so I’m grateful Amazon had it. Wonderful movie. Britney is fabulous and so are Taryn and Zoe. It reminded me of my teen years! I loved this timeframe so much fun.

Such A Nostalgic Movie!
Was so excited to be able to purchase Crossroads to stream, I hadn’t seen this movie in at least a decade! And it’s just as great as I remember. Brings back so many cherished memories from my teenage years, and the soundtrack is absolutely spot on. If you love Britney Spears - it’s a must see!

Laugh, cry, sing, dance, and relate to this great, memorable, heartwarming movie!
The part where Britney's on screen mother gave her up and said she never wanted her really hit home. I was put in fostercare when I was 3 years old. I grew up wondering why they didn't want me. I cried during this part. Anyway, on with the review. Many singers who try to crossover into acting are painful to watch. Look at Beyonce, Rihanna, and Chris Brown. But I actually found Britney's acting to be extremely likable and believable. In retrospect to the movie, I know it got horrible reviews when it came out, but I actually loved the movie. There were fun parts, serious parts, relatable parts, parts to sing and dance to, parts that made me laugh, and tearjerker parts. I thought the movie was well written with good acting. It sits in my heart to this day.

I was really disappointed when I couldn't find the movie to watch or buy and then Amazon had it so I scooped it up before it disappeared again! I ❤ Britney Spears and this movie is fantastic! If your a fan you have to add it to your collection! 🦋💜
