First unit that was delivered was packed in a padded envelope and was damaged. Returned and got a replacement which arrived very quickly, of course packed in the same manner but was not broken this time around. Bath comes with no instructions but is easy to figure out in that you snap the top clear cover into the colored bottom bath part. Then the bath hangs off the cage aligned with a suitable opening on the cage, from two hooks that are part of the top clear cover. Seems simple enough. The problem is there are three tabs on the clear part that snap into three indentations that are on the bottom half which is supposed to secure it in place. Well the tabs really do not fit in place well and the thing comes apart easily. Given that the top holds the bath in place, I am not confident that the bottom, full of water and an active happy bird is not just going to detach from the top half, and the bird will be free and there will be water all over the floor. Now if you are able to set the bath on a table of shelf, you may be okay, but in my case the bath will need to hang from the cage with nothing supporting the bottom other than the tabs. I was never really able to get the top to completely snap in all three tabs into the bottom part anyway. The issue is the tabs are small, the indents in the bottom are actually slightly smaller than the tabs, and the top and bottom are so flimsy that they do not provide enough rigidity and pressure to keep everything in place. I guess you could try gluing it together but heck, why pay good money for something that is poorly designed in the first place. I requested a return and Amazon gave me a full refund and no return shipping fees. A+ For Amazon service for both returns and a frown for the bird bath.

i have had it now for 6 months and it’s holding up fine. It’s not as good as other brands but it’s ok. the tray doesn’t slide out very easily so i leave it all attached and it’s not a tight fit so if you put in to much water it leaks were the tray slide i

This is awesome, I got a white color (I thought it was going to be blue, but it's okay it honestly doesn't matter to me). And my parakeets figured out how to use this almost immediately after I installed it. If you have those doors on the cage that open vertically, then you may want to put a twisty tie or something like that to keep the door up because this doesn't help keep the door open. Easy to clean, easy to install, easy to refill water into and water doesn't splash out of it. My parakeets also have enough room to flap their wings in there when they bathe.

This bird bath is what it looks like in picture. Doesn't fit exactly as I had hoped but it is usable.

My birds love this. It fits perfectly. They were taking a bath in it almost immediately after I put it on their cage.
