5100 Replacement Hose

Saw complaints that the hose supplied was too short. I cut the end off the old hose on the Sears (Craftsman) Inflator/Compressor (1998 Vintage) and purchased (Local Hardware Store) a 3/16" X 3/16" Barb Fitting (they called it a Hose Splicer) and two small SS Hose Clamps.The old hose was still in good shape, but if it wasn't would have purchased a new one at the appropriate length. The old hose ID was smaller so used a little vaseline on the barb for that end. Works great. I looked all over , including Sears before finding this part, and it is Made In The USA.

the hose is very flimsy. doesn't seem like it will last very long or handle higher pressures. much weaker than the one i'm replacing.

The length of hose isn't very long. But it works well as a universal replacement part for air pumps. Fit perfectly onto my old compressor/pump.

I like it. My 120 V. air pump still worked, but the hose sprang a leak and the nozzle was also allowing air to escape. This item solved both problems without buying a whole new pump. However, hose is a little shorter than original. Also discovered that there are less expensive hoses available and you can even buy just the nozzle part if that's all you need.

This hose doesn't fit so I simply wanted to return it. Radio Silence. No response to any of my communication. I wouldn't recommend buying from this company ever. Terrible service. or should I say no service!

Works OK, but short hose distracts from usability. Also the plastic connector appears fragile. Should have been metal. I suspect limited life of the plastic locking lever on connector after repeated use.

My husband wanted this for a small air compressor that looks like a drill. He won it in a raffle. It is very nice and useful, but the hose screws on to valve. Yep, by the time you unscrew it, you've lost the air! This product solved that issue.

Original hose became brittle and useless. Nice replacement, seems beefy and fit perfectly which I secured with small hose clamp.
