LupinePet Basics 3/4" Red 9-14" Adjustable Collar for Small Dogs

I love Lupine's collars and leashes. I don't think you get any better with value for money. The quality is admirable and they last over time - not quickly becoming raggedy or fading like many others that are more expensive! The plain forest green on this collar really pops. I haven't washed this collar yet, but I've had my Lupine leash in the wash a few times, and it held up solidly.Made in New Hampshire, guaranteed even if chewed (which we've never had to use... but still, its nice that they stand behind their products so publicly).For my small 16 pound pug mix puppy, the 3/4" wide, size 9-14 was a great fit, but of course, you should measure your dog. Durable, simple, and gets admiring attention in the dog park. What's not to love?My pup was a little startled by the click of the collar going on - I think going through one of his fear stages. But accompanying the collar going on with a treat a few times over a week has sorted that out.I'm only waiting for Lupine to make a waterproof collar for swimming etc. - because I've tried others out there - e.g. Dublin, and am not that impressed. I hope you are listening, product development people at Lupine in Conway, NH.

I have ordered 3 of these for my pups. Ordered the 1" large for my golden in light pink. Such a pretty color but does get dirty easily. Not a deal breaker as it is her fault when trying to play out in rain. I ordered the extra small in purple for my 10lb Daschund and it was too small. Was disappointed but my fault as should have measured her neck first. I just reordered right size. Have the medium for my Schnauzer in blue. It is bright. Pretty color but every time I look at it, it does remind me of a Christmas ornament. Will take some adjustments but they all have their own colors now and seem happy.

I liked this 9 to 14 inch Lupine collar so much in the muddy paw design, I ordered it in orange too. They are well made with good smooth edges that are folded and stitched so it is not rough against the dog's neck. My dog's neck is 10 inches (he weighs 10 lbs) and I like the 3/4 inch width on him.I use a circle ring (same type you put keys on) to attach his tags to. I then attach the circle ring to the collar space where you adjust the length. This keeps the tags higher up than attaching the ring to the leash hook. If I did that, the tags would hang to low and my dog chews on them.The quality of these collars makes the reasonable price a very good value. Plus they are made here in the United States.

I ordered this product because I have a very large cat who can't fit the normal 12" cat collars; this one fits 12-16" so it is the right size. However, it is too wide and heavy for a cat. I also thought it was a breakaway collar, which it is not. Other than that, it is well made and probably great for a small dog (what it is designed for). When I had searched for cat collars for large cats, I kept getting sent to sites with collars for small dogs. Lupine is a good company--the collars for all my other cats are made by Lupine. I wish they would make a cat collar in a 12-16" size.

This is a very nice collar that fits my 12 pound dog well. The price was very reasonable. I would buy this again.

Adore. Our youngest chewed through his first one... took pictures, emailed Lupine, they replaced it without question. Bought three more since then... every dog I own will wear Lupine Pet collars. They are functional, inexpensive, are quality materials and production, and are impeccably warrantied. Thank you Lupine!

I have two young huskies who love to chew and to wrestle. As a team, they have chewed through many collars and harnesses. This collar is the first thing they haven't gnawed through within five days of wear -- it's been about two months now and still looks like new!

Normally I love this brand have been using only lupine for many years, they last, they are resilient, and they are great about replacing them even if your pet chews through thier product, I have bought collars, harnesses and leashes for each of my dogs over the years when they are pups and they last through thier lifetime, however this time I bought a collar (hunter orange color) and when it gets wet (rain, swimming etc) it bleeds and stains my dogs beautiful white fur with a nasty hot pinkish color, the color faded fast and after just 2 months it is pale and dingy looking. I am however purchasing a new one by the same company as 15-20 yrs of usinh thier products have generally been amazing, I will choose a different color and pray it doesn't bleed and stain my dog, all my dogs have been hunters/swimmers so I can honestly say all the previous products I have bought and used have never had an issue so giving them another chance, although I must admit I was very upset and disappointed, the dye that stained my dog did not wash completely out and the rest had to sort of had to wear off over time hoping the next one I order doest have this issue

I love the 3/4" collar as I think it's more comfortable for a dog to have a thinner collar and it's still very sturdy. I don't have a small dog but he doesn't need anything larger. Got red for the Christmas season. My boy is very festive.
