Works perfectly.
It works. Not the best video board these days, but for that one old computer, it's great that we can still get oldies like this. It's a new life for the computer and now it's close to silent. (My previous video board had a very noisy fan!) Easy to install, perfect fit. Quick to remove the old card and put this one it.

Hdmi hook up
Works good. I use hdmi hook up for a 1080p 32 inch TV as a monitor.

Decent workstation card
Bought this card because I upgraded my monitor and needed a new card to take the new monitor to its full potential (2560x1440). I wanted a card that only took up only one PCI slot, didn't require any extra power beyond what the PCI express slot provided and was fanless. I can confirm that this card works flawlessly under Linux Mint 19.1, no extra drivers had to be downloaded. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the heatsink is too thick and blocks access to the 32 bit PCI slot next to the PCI express16 slot it sits in. This card makes a great upgrade if you don't really care about high performance gaming but want a good workstation card. Just for the record my boat anchor is a Super Micro X6DAL-TB2 with 2 3.6 GHz Intel Xeons, 12 GB Registered ECC RAM, 2 TB on the RAID controller and Linux Mint 19.1 64 bit.

Great upgrade
I got this as an upgrade from my gt 710 which was getting really bad frame rates on more intensive games. This card definitely increased the quality, fps and made those games a lot more playable and the colors even look better. Great value for money and it doesn’t seem to overheat.UPDATE:I’ve had this card for about a year and a half now and it still works great for older games. On games such as GTA 5 it really only gets at most 20 fps though.

Solid Choice for a Basic Rig
Very simple to install - just plug it into a PCIe x 16 slot, no additional power cable required. This one probably won’t knock your socks off if you’re a hardcore PC gamer, in fact it most certainly won’t, but it’s a solid choice if you’re just looking to refresh an older PC and do basic things with it. No moving parts means that this one will hopefully last a while as long as your PC has reasonable airflow. Another nice thing about this card is the size - most graphics cards are the size of a double-wide trailer these days, hanging out the back of your PC case, weighing ten pounds, five inches thick, and having sixteen fans. This one’s really slim and also short - it’s unlikely that you’ll need to move other things around to get it to fit. A very nice practical solution if you’re a regular person who just needs the basics.

Good old card, but drivers were too old for CUDA.
This GPU card seems ok, but I could not find Linux drivers for it that work with CUDA software. I need to look at getting a newer model card. The return was easy. Too bad it didn't work out.

Great for discrete graphics for PS2021 update
My wife's Acer Aspire TC-895 had been running the most recent versions of Photoshop without issue, until the most recent (June 2021) upgrade; everything would work fine, but if she tried to use Liquefy, it crashed the program. Adobe support was able to look at her system info and determined that she needed a discrete graphics card with at least 2GB RAM in order to run the latest update.I agonized for days about which card to get, especially with the insane prices given the semiconductor shortage. I finally settled on this one, given the balance between price and features. Yes, it only has DDR3 RAM, but it has 4GB. Yes, it only has passive cooling, but the max wattage is relatively low and the case on this computer has tons of airspace and a large vent down by the PCIe slots. Yes, it only has 3 ports (1 each for RGB, HDMI, and DVI), but she only runs a single monitor setup.I can happily report that with this card, the latest version of Photoshop (22.4.2) now runs well, no glitches, no crashes. If you're a non-gamer, intermediate user who mostly does Photoshop work for your photography business, this is a perfectly cromulent graphics card.

1GB to 4GB & with 43.7 GB hardware reserved GPU memory. upgrade
A nice improvement for my old 1GB video card, witch gave me 3MB HD for a total of 4GB of graphical RAM. This one has 4 GB dedicated RAM already PLUS 35.7 GPU RAM and 37.1 shared GPU RAM. So with 43.7 GB hardware reserved GPU RAM... nice
