Polo Ralph Lauren Men's Harvey Fashion Sneaker

I've been wearing these Polo fashion sneakers for a couple of days now and have a generally high opinion of them. I purchased these shoes because I was looking for a lightweight pair of sneakers - as opposed to the heavier, hotter leather sports shoes of today. Let's look at them a little more closely.The soles are a synthetic material a little stiffer and more firm than the rubber soles of yesterday's "high tops" but seem tough and well made. The uppers are traditional cotton canvas. they're light and breathable - just what I was looking for in a pair of sneakers. These over-the-ankle sneakers should give more support to the foot and ankle and have a nice leather covering around the tops - they're padded too.The insoles are reasonably comfortable and supportive. However, they do not have significant arch support. If you need additional arch support, you'll have to purchase some sort of insert(s). The fit is basically good, though mine seemed a tad long in the toe and just a little snug in the width (these are supposed to be D - medium width). Nothing to concern me, just a little bit each way.I think people buying these are not looking for sports shoes and probably aren't intending them for serious basketball competition, but just to remind you, these are fashion sneakers intended for casual use. In that role, they do well. I purchased these on Amazon here for a little less than $40 and that would put them in line with other fashion sneakers of this type and a good buy.These are a good choice for fashion sneakers for casual use and I recommend them to those interested with four stars.

they look nice, fit right but the structure is fragile like converse. when you try putting them on the whole top just completely bends down to the sole. and so it can be annoying.

Never able to wear them

I like the shoes, they're not my favorite in the world. They feel to me like a better version of converse, but if you're used to wearing a more heavy, fabricated hightop, get a size down from what you usually wear. Even when it was harder to get my foot into the shoe it ended up being too big.

Pretty shoes but do not provide good uncle support.
