Essential for maximizing limited milk supply: travel size great option for smaller-chested moms
I wanted something to catch the drops of let-down on one boob while my little one was nursing on the boob. Originally I had used the Haka pump for this purpose, but it hangs down too far and interrupts with nursing and she kept kicking it off with those active little legs! This has fit the bill. It stays in place by nestling into your bra cup. So while I'm nursing on the L side, for example, I keep the bra cup in place on the right side and slide this in. I usually catch about a half ounce per side -- it all adds up, and it keeps the bra from getting wet with leakiness. I have quit using cotton breast shields/pads almost entirely since buying these. While I was originally only going to use them when nursing, now I keep them on most of the day, and it allows me to catch the early drops as I start to get full again and close to a next feeding (but if she's still asleep and not ready yet). I've been "nursing on demand" and this has been invaluable. Important to keep the little hole up at the top. The one thing is you have to be careful not to bed over (ex. to empty dishwasher) or you will drip out the top and get your shirt wet. What I do is just try to keep an empty bottle nearby and empty these once I start to get a little pool collecting. If I stay upright, I think I can collect about an ounce per side before this gets too full. Also, I have actually been wearing them at night as well - again, to catch the drips once a side gets full between feedings. What I do in this case is, if I'm sleeping on my right side, then I rotate the little hole from 12:00 (if your areola is a clock and that's the top!) to about 1:30 (halfway between 12 and 3) and that way when I'm lying in bed, it can catch without dripping out. If I turn over halfway through the night then I just rotate whole to that 45-degree angle on the opposite side. This sleeping method isn't foolproof but pretty darn good and get to collect milk while sleeping which feels pretty darn productive! Proud to say these were part of a regime that helped me move from 50% formula to all breast milk! (though of course nothing wrong with formula supplementation, ladies, we all are doing best we can...!) Happy to answer any questions. For reference I was a 30 A-B pre-pregnancy. I find that if I wear a padded bra (kind of like a sports bra), I can pop these in and wear them and they aren't too noticeable as long as shirt is flowy (ex. a work blouse) or if I am wearing a tighter ruched maternity t-shirt, then I just pop an open sweater or scarf over to distract a little. Essentially it just makes me look like a C cup or as if I was wearing one of those "add a size" Victoria's secret bras... ha! But don't wear these if you're in a shirt that can't handle a little spilling if it happens on accident. Also of note, these are surprisingly soft/comfortable to wear all day. I could try to upload pics later if any of you have more specific questions. I think these were totally worth the price. Also, comes with two pairs, so you can have one by the sink being washed while you are wearing the other. Also, to wash, it comes apart in two pieces so easy. I normally don't write reviews, but after 5 visits with lactation specialists and a lot of reading on KellyMom and other websites, and a struggle to get my supply to meet demand, these have been a real lifesaver and I want other women to know (I work in public health research, family planning specifically!). Getting that extra ounce or so per feeding cycle (and in the in-between cycle moments) has helped get me closer to those lovely 4-ounce bottles. Especially smaller-chested women, when a lot of the nursing-pumping-milk collection stuff seems geared towards more well-endowed moms. Good luck everyone with your breastfeeding goals! Oh, and note: this doesn't "suck" out the milk like a Haka pump, it just passively accepts whatever drips out.

Saves so much milk at letdown
These were so great at the beginning of my breastfeeding journey. It saved so much milk from being wasted into a pad while feeding from the opposite breast. They’re easy to clean, they fit comfortably. The only thing is to not forget to take them out before bending over or laying down, they have a hole in the top for dumping.

Highly recommend
I used to think my Haakaa’s were the best when I nursed/pumped with my last child but I just had another child and my newborn has a bad latch and made my nipples/areola terribly raw and cracked. Using my Haakaa was so uncomfortable because of the suction that I found myself removing it almost immediately because the it was so painful while having cracked nipples. It was also painful for me to wear any shirt or bra while I was in the healing process, but this product helped because it worked as nipple shells and a milk collector! Like a 2-in-1 product! I could not just be topless like I would like to have been to speed up the healing process because I constantly leak at least a little bit of milk so this enabled me to “air out” my breast while preventing my milk from getting everywhere. The only reason I took off a star is because I believe there is room for improvement on this product. My milk poured out of the opening where your an pour the milk out of (not where you insert your nipple), and although I know it is my fault because it was usually when I was reaching for something or bending over, I saw that there are comparable products for sale on amazon with the same hole but it has a plug! That would be much more convenient. It did exactly as described and the price is great.

Comfortable. Easy to use. Worth the price. Didn't get to really use.

Good, but not comfortable if wearing all day
Works for collecting milk leakage. Fills quickly while feeding, and easy to dump all over yourself when you forget to dump out afterwards. Not great for all day wear as it can kind of dig into your areola. Make sure the ring is on correctly or it will leak. Better than breast pads though.

Very useful
These are great! I use a hakaa but it's shape makes it really awkward when breastfeeding in some positions, or when out and about. These don't have suction, but they spare you from being covered with milk while allowing you to save/collect milk. They are pretty low profile and can be easily tucked under a nursing bra. They're easy to disassemble/reassamble and wash in the dishwasher.

Ticks all the boxes
There are a lot of similar products to this one and I think I’ve bought and tried just about all of them. This is the winner for my situation for a few reasons. As background, I’m a first time mom, exclusively pumping. At about 3 weeks in, my nipples started to get Very painful. They weren’t cracked or bleeding but they’re definitely extremely painful, especially when compressed or rubbing against my bra. Since I need to wear a bra 24/7 to contain leaks, my nipples basically always hurt. Hence I started the quest for something to protect them. - Plain old nursing pads are okay and I’ve gotten some super soft ones, but because they’re soft and not rigid, they don’t really protect against rubbing/pressure - Silver nipple protectors are nice but 1) don’t come in a large/tall enough size for my nipples and 2) are hard along the edges so really aggravate my equally sore areolas - The ladybug is cute and pretty good at catching a ton of milk, but it’s massive and doesn’t fit under my bra. It’s also not rigid on the outside so you can squish it when sleeping and create a huge leaky mess. - Other milk catchers like the Medelas are very similar to this product but 1) have smaller openings on the silicone side that cut into sore areolas and/or 2) have several large holes at the top that make it impossible to bend over/sleep with them on. I’ve only just put these on but came right to write this review since it seems like they avoid every single one of those problems. And as a bonus, they’re super affordable! I definitely recommend trying them if you’re in a similar boat!

Qualité de l’article très décevant… Arrivée dans une boîte à moitié ouverte et sans écriture ni informations. Je ne paierais pas plus de 10$ pour cela.
