Dusty but work well
Used these to make a helmet for my toddler. Was a super fun project and was easy to just use a bowl of water with these rolls. My only drawback is that they're very dusty, not only inside the package but the entire box they shipped in was covered in dust despite them being individually sealed in plastic wrap.

VERY slow to set; does not set hard!!
I just don't understand all the glowing reviews for this product. After wetting and molding the bandages, the setting process for the plaster takes literally hours: at first an hour or two for the water to absorb and evaporate (even in the very dry high-altitude air of Utah!) -- and then several more hours for the endothermic process of setting to finish (i.e. the bandages feel cold to the touch while setting -- I don't even understand why this is an endothermic process though, since setting plaster of Paris is exothermic -- it gets hot to the touch! This is not even plaster of Paris, it's chemically different!). Once the setting process is complete, the bandages are crisp but not hard, even with 10 layers. It's nothing like a plaster cast, which sets rock-hard -- these bandages are very easy to bend/crush by hand even after setting, and a set shape won't take any amount of force.
