This is the real thing: truly dark, nutrient-dense, and flavorful cacao powder. It s my favorite, so far, of those I have tried, although I didn't know what to base my expectations on when I began trying them. Not at all disappointing; in fact, a surprisingly great cacao. .Also like that it is available in the 2-lb. size, a better bargain. While I've never liked bagged foods, this package is thick, slick and sturdy, sits upright, and doesn't cause waste as it is easier to open and close. I've made hot chocolate with it and frequently add it to my morning cup of java; it dissolves well, leaves very little dregs in the bottom of the cup. I plan eventually to make it my sole morning drink if I can get fully weaned from caffeine.

Excellent customer service! Even better product!I have just quit sugar from my diet and was looking for dessert alternatives.My husband and I like dark chocolate and this powder form definietly hits that note. My husband who is not giving up sugar also eats my sugar free desserts! I mixed the cacao powder with an avocado, 2 teaspoons of cacao powder, pinch of salt, chopped nuts, a drop of vanilla, and rolled them into little balls and then coated them in shredded coconut/cacao nibs/goji berries and refrigerated. YUMMMM!I personally love the cacao nibs on its own- I love that bitter taste and the texture is SO addictive- small and delicate but super crunchy!Excellent in our opinion!

I give this Cacao Powder five stars because of its raw organic pureness. Nonetheless, the taste is different, and I will have to get used to that. Joyfuel cacao replaces my use of Hersey's 100% natural cacao powder, and nothing about Hersey cacao ranks better other than Hersey's taste is sweeter and more palatable to my tongue. I use cacao powder in my morning coffee. Ultimately, though, my health is more important to me than taste. I hope I will get used to Joyfuel cacao taste in time.Incidentally, the Joyfuel cacao advertised a "FREE-eRecipe Book included." I did not receive such with in package.

It may seem a little spendy, but it's 2 lbs of finely ground cacao, so worth it. I can't say whether it's as pure as they claim, but it seems to be. Nice flavor too. I will likely purchase again down the road.

This used to be my absolute favorite cacao powder. I have tried many brands of raw cacao sold on Amazon. Joyfuel used to stand far and above all the others, with a rich, floral aroma unmatched by any other cacao I have ever tried. However, the product recently underwent a drastic change and is now inedible. It tastes bitter and rancid like moldy wood powder, rather than cacao.The only reason I gave the product two stars is the incredible customer service provided by the company. Not only did they refund my purchase, but they also provided several replacement bags in hopes that I had simply received a single bad batch. Unfortunately, all of the replacements tasted just as bad.When the product returns to its former quality, I will give it an unconditional five stars. Until then, find an alternative.

Absolutely amazing! I mix one tbs of this with 1 scoop of whey protein powder so I can just mix it with water or milk and chug it. The cacao makes it taste really good without having all those crappy artificial flavors and gives a ton of antioxidants as well as a little caffeine shot right after my workout. It also tastes more mild than I thought it would, it's not bitter or sharp at all, but still very flavorful. I will be buying this again once mine is finished.

This had been my favorite chocolate until I wanted to expand my production and bought the 5 pound bag.Sadly, it isn't "rich dark chocolate." Its a really light color and has a very mild taste.NEVER AGAIN will I make that mistake.
