Great buy!
Good product! Nice illustrations and appropriate sounds. Sent it to daycare for sharing and it hadn’t come back yet:)

Love Usborne Sound Books
This series of books has beautiful fun illustrations. I love the cut-outs that connect the pages. The sounds are always fun and not annoying. This one features a lot of forest animals. I love all the animal sound books because it often includes animal noises that I am not capable of making myself, so it's nice that my toddler can hear a more accurate rendition than my poor offerings when reading.

Exactly as expected, we love usborne books!

Not enough interesting sounds
Many repeats of past sounds in other usborne sounds books. Water splashing is not a creative sound to put in a book and there were 3 in here! Seriously?! Fantastic artwork of course.

Sounds inaccurate
I purchased this book after being impressed with the quality of the “Farm Sounds” book from the same company, Usborne. This book arrived with dead batteries. It cost $10 to replace them after already spending $25 on the book. The sounds are okay, but not nearly as accurate as the “Farm Sounds” book, and they all end with the same odd mechanical sound.

Disappointing
Half of the noises are random nature sounds like rain falling or water splashing, leaves rustling. That kind of thing. It's just not that fun for a toddler, at least not as much as animal noises which are more unique sounds individually. Also, one of the animals was a deer... Barking? Okay, so I guess technically Yeah, deer bark.. but that that's already one odd noise in a short list of noises, most of which are kind of disappointing. The quality of the sounds themselves wasn't great, that probably adds to why I disliked the deer barking, bees buzzing, or water running. It's just not a book I'd recommend.

Doesn’t last
My kids love these books but the sound stops functioning after a few weeks. We have three and it has happened with all of them.

More cons than pros
Repeat sounds from other books in the series, weird sound choices overall, and then the sensors stopped working on some of the pages. Could deal with the first two, but my kid gets pretty frustrated now that he can push the buttons himself and only some of them work. Poor quality. We have other Usborne sound books that have been seriously put through the ringer, and they work like new.
