Great quality filter
Bought this for a friend's vehicle and have used it in my own vehicle. Great quality. I'm sure there are some gains as far as power, but most likely bit enough to really notice. Still a great choice. No oiling, long filter cleaning intervals, and no more buying and throwing away paper filters. It's a win win.

Fantastic Filter and easy to install on 2014 Silverado
Installed this filter on my 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 5.3l. I was due for an air filter change anyway and figured I would go with a high flow one since I have had some exhaust work done. I wouldn't see the exhaust sound has changed or that I gained really any mileage, or any crazy claim like that. However, I feel like throttle response is just a hair better. I think this coupled with the exhaust work has allowed the truck to breath FAR better. If you aren't looking at this filter for gains (which you really shouldn't be if you are doing JUST the filter), then look into it for the purpose of it lasting a LONG time and being easy to maintain.Note: If you live in the desert or extremely dusty areas, these high flow filters may not be the best for you.

Best filter per dollar
This is only slightly more expensive than a paper filter and yet it will last an indefinite amount of time longer, fits like a glove, definitely flows better(improves MPG), and you don’t have to oil it up like more expensive filters. If you own basically any GMT800 truck with a gas engine and you are at all on the fence, let this review assure you, this is the best filter you can buy per dollar for your stock air box.

2011 Silverado AEM 28-20129 Dryflow Air Filter
I ran this type of filter before in a 2011 Charger and let me tell you why I keep buying it.1.) It is a DRY type filter that you can use over and over and over. Not like a paper you use once and throw away.2.) When you clean it you don't have to worry about re-oiling it and either using too much oil or not enough. Just wash it and put it back in.3.) AEM Dryflow Air Filters do not slow down the amount of air your engine needs when they get dirty like a paper filter does, your engine will still get all it needs.4.) Have you checked the price of paper filters lately??? I'll pay the extra $15 or so and have the peace of mind I can clean it year after year after year.5.) Final comment I promise. If you are looking for a drop-in filter to increase HP it is not going to happen. In today's modern engines it takes more than a filter. But... if you want something 1000% better than a stock paper. AEM Dryflow is the way to go.

Filter okay, shipping terrible
Filter seems good quality and had no issue installing it. Seems like I may have gain a little throttle response. Time will tell. However the condition the box came in was absolutely ridiculous. I'm surprise the filter was still in it!Should have been packaged in a cardboard box.

Noticeable improvement with the 6.2l V8
I have a 2009 GMC Sierra Denali Truck with the awesome 6.2l V8. It's got less than 32k miles on it, and isn't due for a new air filter. But it is still stock, so I decided to swap it out anyways. I also wanted a non-oiled filter, as I've had them in the past, and really don't like them. They're known for getting oil on the MAF, which just causes issues, and adds more work. And as expected, it really wasn't all that dirty. However, I'm glad I did.I immediately noticed improved throttle response and an ever so slight perceived performance improvement. I'm pretty sensitive to how the truck performs and responds. I'm kind of OCD like that. Now I'm not saying we gained a large or even measurable amount of wheeled horsepower. But the engine certainly feels and sounds better. Otherwise no change in noise and not much else to report. It's just an air-filter, not a blower. :)And if the truck is happy, I'm happy. Definite recommend for OE replacement air filter.

Really Great Product.
I installed this into my existing Air Box which is connected to an AIRAID cold air intake arm that takes place of the OEM Arm with the extra filters that rob you of air flow. Once the AEM Dry Filter went in MAN you feel the difference right away. I also recently Sport tuned my truck using the Diablo Sport tuner (Sold by Amazon) it married well. before I Swapped out the Arm and filter I was not getting the right fuel economy, it was running a little hard. once they went in though the car runs smoother and quieter. the gas mileage has improved and I'm extremely Happy. I will be making another purchase to have one ready for the swap.Regards,Dean S.

Never need a replacement again!! Increased MPG!
I needed a new air filter for my 2007 Tahoe, I had just traveled to my family’s home over 1,000k miles away, my original order didn’t come in time so I canceled it and had reordered it and had it shipped to them.Couple days later it was time to come home, I replaced my old dirty filter with this new AEM dry flow. Mileage increased by about 1 mpg over the 1,000 mile journey, I’m sure it would have improved with just a standard replacement, but maybe not as much. Best thing is I’ll never need to buy another filter for this vehicle again.Well worth the added cost in my opinion.
